maybe because I am old(26). I just don't understand why people on youtube are posting their salvia trips. It seems to me that this is going to make it seem like it is a party drug which will bring the media's attention. The last thing it needs is the media.... Let Salvia be a secret that only the wise sages know about :)

I've seen a couple of them. It seems like, from what I saw, its like one or two kids trippin nuts and then a bunch of their bro's pointing and laughing at them saying how fucked up they are.

I agree with you, Salvia totally isn't a party drug, and I don't think anyone gets a good impression from videos like these. But it's Youtube, and if they want to post something lame like that more power to them.

I do like to watch the really old youtube videos about people tripping on LSD though...looking into their eyes trying to imagine/comprehend what's going in there...crazy.

Thank you Slavetoit, your absolutely right! This is NEGATIVE attention that needs to stop. This is exactly the kind of exposure that congress wants to use to illegalize it. It takes a small few idiots to ruin a good thing for the masses.

Not alot that we can do, or should do any how. I see it as people trying to share there experiance with others, but because it's all in there head, they normally end up looking like an idiot.

I hate YouTube videos on Salvia Divinorum unless they are documentaries! Those kids just don't relize that they are taking away a herb that is special to people  ! I agree, try to have them removed from YouTube, but flagging the videos. Good luck guys!

I think they're funny, because those kids have NO IDEA what theyre doing. they think its going to be like weed, because its from a headshop. They just sit there laughing and some of them have bad trips because they're at a party. what fucking retards.

The media is already all over the salvia youtube vids for there make salvia illegal campaign but I find the videos hilarious, and if you've done salvia before that just makes the videos even more funny (to me). What could be more funny than public humiliation?

i like seeing ones where there is someone around who understands what's going on and knows how to talk to someone who's tripping. those make me happy.

My first impression of them was "What's wrong in the first place?" because they aren't actually doing anything to harm themselves or others, but the media is definately making an effort to stop the herb. Here in Canada, there are many news stories that use persuasive words to try and make you think it will do harm to ones self. The only problem they have in Canada is that they state there is no proof that Salvia Divinorum is a health risk, so they refuse to make it illegal until more research is done. I hope this continues...

these people are stupid. They are just letting themselves get used to bring this miraculous plant into the light and giving more ammunition to those who want to see it made illegal.

on the second hand though... http://youtube.com/watch?v=8gQ-t5r0UVs&feature=related
    this is a good song

Usually it's just kids all hopped up because of the excitement of the party, not because of the drug. It's like a drama-queens syndrome.

I watched a few, they're all the same thing and its all ridiculously annoying. I hope the salvia fad ends soon. Thankfully I have 4 grams saved up, so I'm set for a looong time. Salvia is something I REALLY have to be in the mood for, otherwise it can be really terrible and uncomfortable.
