i want to get a small tattoo on my foot at the top side but im can't bring myself to do it incase it hurts too much! i have two tattoos already, the one on the back of my neck was like a tickle, it didn't hurt at all, just made my skull vibrate a bit lol but the one of my shoulder was agony, i was digging my nails into the chair, so...i really don't know what to expect. anyone of you got a tat on the top of your foot?
They hurt like any other boney part of your body and they're a pain to heel because you can't really wear shoes. But, pain is part of it and not really something to dissuade you, IMHO
I've had the top of my right foot tattooed three times. The only marked difference between that location and the others is that there are a lot more bones and nerves in that area than most other areas. I had to shift my weight onto the right foot because I was twitching a lot. I recommend that you get a tattoo like that in early spring or late summer because, like PP said, you can't really wear shoes during the healing.
