Yes I could understand a simple news mention that she died, not an ongoing watchfull eye deal like they did do. I mean a little "Anna Nicole Smith dies at age bla bla in bla bla she was noted for bla bla and thats it, simple easy. Then maybe after all the shit was done mention it one more time and what was to be of the kid ect not this shit of every 5 minutes giving us updates.

 

my question would be: why does anyone turn on and watch this stuff? are they really that bored? or so imagination atrophied to not be able to think of anything more gratifying that takes just as little effort?

No, I have no interest in it what so ever. And I don't understand why others do. I have a friend who loves Paris Hilton, she knows everything about her and in some ways tries to be like her. Its idiotic.
Celebrities are just strangers, why care? Does it really matter to anyone that Brad Pitt and Jennifer splitt (I really don't know any current gossip)? How does that effect your life? Just leave them alone, let them do their movies, sing their songs, enjoy them and let them live their lives as they wish. Focus on your own instead, and if you want gossip, isn't it more entertaining to hear about people you know?
