well also, my car is like the tardis...i dont know if ill get where im going...or when...plus i have to smash things with hammers...come back for a recharge...no cool console though...
Now if Jerry went out and bought a new car where would the adventure be in that? Its the thrill of wondering will it make it, hell will I live thru it, mans gotta have a risk or life will get boring.
new cars cost lots of money,,, money which many just aint got n even when we got it just seems too much to spend on transportation... hell houses just not many years ago cost what a new car does now... makes me atleast feel kinda sorta bad bout goin n blowing it on something i rarely use when i could be spending it on much more needed or wanted things or perhaps even saving it
I have bought new cars before and I really hated the fact tht the moment I signed on the dotted line I just threw 30% of my money away and every year a little more was lost. Now I try to buy a used car that I get a killer deal on that when I do decide to get rid of it I get all my money back (minus fuel and ect). You know right now its better to buy a solid but beat up old car (like a Charger ect) spend $20K plus on it to redo it, drive it and your going to make a serious profit? Crazy. I am looking for a 1969 Jeep Commando or Wagoneer or a 1988 Wagoneer or BLazer. I figure I would rather dump a few $$ into that and be happy with it. (Years I was born and year I graduated BTW)
I wonder just how many cars there are in the world called Bessie. I used to have one called Betsy in Australia.
