Volunteers Wanted to Help with New Marijuana Website!

Greetings to all you cannabis lovers! We're now recruiting volunteers to help out on a brand new marijuana site that will blow all the others away.

If you believe in marijuana, whether it's for medical, recreational or industrial uses, this will be a great source for info, unlike any other on the web.

We need people to help out posting up info, links, and more (can't discuss this now). This will be a content heavy website, with less emphasis on B.S. than most others.

Since we don't represent any particular part of the Industry, except perhaps the consumer, we can provide a relatively unbiased view of what's happening on all fronts.

In case you're worried, these MJ forums will be part of the new site (while still being a part of the Hip Forums!) The galleries too will be a good part of it.

The site is presently under construction, and will go live sometime next month (January, 2008). So after the holidays we'll need help getting it going.

In addition, we will be offering commission based positions for anyone with marketing skills who can sign up marijuana related businesses to buy banner and display ads on the site.

The new site will also help support the forums as forum revenues never quite pay the overhead for this site.

In case you're a mj site skeptic (we don't need another mj website!), you should know that I created and launched several popular MJ websites for other companies which have succeeded very well...

Now it's OUR turn to do it OUR way...!!!

So we're looking for highly motivated people who have time to spare and want to help build the best Marijuana resource on the net! You must be over 18 yrs old and have substantial web experience as a writer/web contributor/moderator etc...

You must be able to spell and write gramatically correct sentences. Most stoners have problems with this...

Are You a Grow Guru? If so we're looking for someone with tons of experience who wants to help others with their grows on the new site.

You'll get your own forum and probably a lot of respect too. BOG did this for us before, but he's retired from growing and isn't around here anymore...

So if you want to be the next grow guru, let me know!

 

Thank you to those who've responded. I will be getting back to you in the next week about working on the site. Within the next 7-10 days I'll be able to give you access to the site to check it out and begin posting up info.

So just be patient until then...

We can still use more people, and a grow guru too! More than one is welcome!

 

Looks like we might be able to get it underway in another week or so.

Still got more coding and testing to do.

 

Update: I'm holding off letting new people on to the site now. The reason is that you'd have to register separately, and I'm currently working on uniting that login with the hipforums login, so you don't need to register again. It may take awhile...

There's still tons of work to be done on the site, and it's still light on content so please contribute something if you visit.

We're looking for ppl to start a grow journal to show off the potential of the site, so if you're interested, please visit!

The journals have some great features including your gallery appearing right on the input pages, so you can easily drag images into your entries.

There's also a calendar (needs a bit more work) that highlights your entry dates so you can keep better track of your grow over time.

But perhaps the best thing is the ability to search grows by many criteria to find ppl who have the most similar situation to yours.

I haven't seen this collection of features anywhere, and they are all custom programs that I designed for your benefit, so start using 'em.

Let me know if you have any more ideas on how to improve the grow journals.
