ok so i love classic rock such as lynynrd skynyrd, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, The Who, etc etc... but most do not put out new music.. so do any of you know of any music like the above that i may like.. plz help..
I run into the same problem cause I get sick of music very fast, but usually go back to it after not listening to it for a very long time. I'm a huge classic rock, blues, 70s, 60s, 50s fan. I guess nothing after 1980 with the exception of a few the classics spit out towards the end there. But it does help to find new songs by those artists that you've never heard before. My play list now: Traffic: The low spark of high heeled boys srv- ain't gonna give up on love john sebastion- rainbows all over your blues led zep- in my time of dying, you shook me, i can't quit you babe, nobody's fault but mine Fleetwood mac- oh well Dionne Warwick- this girls in love with you merilee rush- angel of the morning leslie gore- you don't own me spanky and our gang-i'd like to get to know you Try those for now
You might be interested in The White Stripes and, Wolfmother. The white stripes remind me of Zeppelin a little bit. Wolfmother is kinda like Sabbath Also you might like Some of Clutch's newer stuff. They kind of have a ZZ Top feel to them (or at least there newest album does) sorry I cant be of more help.
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Modest Mouse, Sean Lennon & Arcade Fire. Oh & Neil Young just put out a new album: Living With War. It's great; I love "Impeach the President" - an awesome song.
i love classic rock(not so much really with the lynyrd skynyrd, but o well), and i also have been listening to radiohead and flaming lips recently. but i love a ton of differnt music so u might not be into it. black mountain might also be worth checking out
