this is an internet forum man, we are all under a facade. i guarantee that the majority of the people on this board lie about them selfs on a weekly/daily basis.

 

I would like to be excluded from the lying bunch.

 

We will never be able to tell who lies about smaller things unless that person openly contradicts themself. It is a lot easier to tell who is telling the truth when it comes to some of the ridiculous stories people make up. Not saying that there aren't people like TNS who do go out and do rediculous shit, but I would say a good majority of people don't smoke ounces in a day while consuming large numbers of xanax bars.

but is the false internet persona inherently a bad thing wonka? It might be these falsities that help some people live through their daily real life tragedies.

 

Hell, if portraying a false persona on the internet keeps someone from committing suicide, then I am all for that person lying.

 

don't even need to take it to that extreme in my opinion. Maybe somekid coming on here bragging about all the green he's moving and the fine cat he's driving around is really a kid who comes from a broken home and it helps him not be down about his situation

 

no, and thats exactly my point.

thats why its fun to meet members in real life to see what they are really like. Ive only met 3 other members so far and its like meeting a new person even if you've talked a bunch on the forums.

I agree with willywonka's entire post..

You know a lot of people embarass themselves around here, get into arguments, get hated by many people, but once all of that blows over people forget. And you can definitely count on the stoners to forget!!

My opinion of you doesn't matter. Just like the opinions that the rest of the members have. Most of them don't really give a shit about what others say anyway. As long as they get their message out there, and people respond to them.

So do what you want, but don't make a new name and come back as someone totally different. That's just wrong.
