Hey i found and love the site a few weeks ago and i am so glad i did! After reading about the evils of wax i'm glad i cut my old ones off annyways i have a couple questions i can't find answers to sorry if this has been covered i did look.

    1. not a question but is there any pics of short natural dreads early on in the journy

    2. once they have done the shrinkage/knoting process how quick do the grow like length/month or year?

    3. is it posible to cut them without them undreading?

Thanks in advance sorry if its been covered

i have no pics of short natural dreads. sorry. how fast they grow depends, everyone's hair grows at a different speed. but i noticed my hair started to grow more since i got dreads. as for cutting, i do not know, i did hear about one dude who cut one of his in half and lost alot of knottage. but i don't know for sure. hope i helped.

When i cut some of mine (i dreaded my hair at a stupid length and had was getting a pretty serious mullet!) i cut about 2 inchs off someone of my dreads at a diagonal angle and then croetched it into the dread to stop it unraveling so much, after a few months the tip was solid again. So i didn't have any problems, but i have heard of people having the whole dread unravel on them though.

    1. I dunno, you can look around or see if anyone post some here.

    2. They grow as quick as you hair does..? I mean if they are all mature and fully knotted, they dont need sooo much time to knot the new growth right? Keep in mind getting fully knotted mature locks is gonna take you 4+ years. So be patient.

    3. You can cut without undreading....just take scissors and chop at the root. Voila you just cut without undreading..
