Grateful Dead and Baseball?

Did anyone catch right before a commercial break during the All Star Game "Touch of Grey" being played?

I have a grateful dead shirt with a terrapin as an umpire, a bear as a catcher, and a skeleton as a hitter....... and it says "steal your base" its my favourite shirt. hippies should like baseball.... its one of those lazy sports....

 

I heard some phish being played at a boston red sox game I was watching a couple years ago.......

 

baseball is something special, beyond the scope of corporations, drugs and patriotism that seeks to rule it.

 

and wasn't touch of grey their only top 40 hit, anyway? that's not really grateful dead, right, according to the silly popularity rules of supposedly non-mainstream bands?

 

yeah, I think touch of grey made it to number 1, actually.......

 

baseball is lazy?

 

Well, Jerry was a giants fan. Ever see the youtube clips of Jerry isnging the national anthem before a giants game. He did it a few times with various other members of the band. I also had a steal your face tshirt with the giants logo in place of the lightening bolt.

 

watching it is one of the greatest lazy pleasures ever.

 

I like "Touch of Grey".

Dale Carnegie should use it as a motivational song attached to his idiotic books.

 

everyone likes touch of grey. that's the point.

 

As a Life long baseball fan, and a dead head. I know they are like the perfect combo.

 

i dont like baseball...
but i do like the grateful dead...is there something wrong with me?

 

Baseball and the Grateful Dead make a great combination since both put me to sleep.
