I dunno, but I think compiling a list of favourites is really difficult. Even if it's just 5 bands. Argh, must I suck at everything??

2: Burzum(killed Mayhem...hahaha...literlly)
3: Wintersun
4: Darkthrone
5: Venom(also one of the Godfathers of BM)
6(?): isnt a metal band and i just feel the need to say it(Slipknot)

Exodus (Just got Bonded by Blood)

I have also found myself listening to a lot Morbid Angel recently

Obituary (the first death metal band I heard)
Slayer (Cause they're great)
Megedeath and Early Metallica (pure thrash)
Nile (I have really gotten into them recently)

IDK if all these are "Metal" but they are all fucking heavy so who cares. Do yourself a favor and listen to Catch 33 by Meshuggah.

 

I do consider them a form of metal, many don't. Thought it was funny you'd say that and then list sabbath / ozzy...

really? even their newest album? thats the most metal album they got, and withering to death was also a good metal type album, and even vulgar. why dont you consider them metal?
