Your greatest assets are education and the potential for further education. Think about the following and further your education. *** I have a criticism of certain people. The people I'm talking about are largely identifiable with a certain group. That group is the Republican Party. My problem with Republicans is they are unenlightened. I do believe they can and should be enlightened. I believe they can be educated. Some of them. Their unenlightenment takes a specific form. What specific form? In general the problem with Republicans is they only care about themselves. They don't care about others. If you have a problem, hey, it's your own fault and I don't need to care or do a thing about it. Actually it's more than that. They relish their uncaringness. They gloat over it. In all appearance they enjoy the suffering of others. (Libertarians are maybe one step above Reublicans. They don't care about others. They don't necessarily gloat about it. They just don't want to be bothered and kind of embarassingly side step the issue because their creedo can't handle it. A fatal flaw.) They justify the inequality and unhappiness of others by saying others DESERVE what they get. The concept of merit is their magic mantra. Why beat around the bush. No pun intended. Republicans are bigots. They love bigotry. That's why the South is solid Republican. The former Confederacy. Of course the underlying problem goes deeper than that. It's ignorance. But I believe Republicans can be educated. Some of them. In particular in this thread I want to focus on the Immigration Issue. Republicans want to send all the Mexicans back to Mexico. Why? Because they're bigots and they love bigotry. Primitive xenophobia. But they can't just come out and say it. So they have to have a cover. The cover they use in this case in no amnesty for lawbreakers. Just like I said. Illegals DESERVE to be punished because they broke the law. Well if Republicans (and any others) are so interested in no amnesty for lawbreakers -- which in fact they are not they just want a cover for their bigotry -- then I propose a National No Amnesty Day. On this National No Amnesty Day anyone who has ever broken the law in any way -- speeding, parking tickets, late or unpaid taxes, jaywalking and driving drunk, not to mention more serious offenses -- anyone who has ever broken the law in any way -- can turn themselves in for as many offenses as they have ever committed so as to be assigned their full due monetary and incarceration penalty for lawbreaking. How many times have you exceeded the speed limit in 25,35,55, 75 mph zones? I'll bet it's enough times to take away most people's licences and land them in jail to boot. If these people really support what they say they will turn themselves in. But they won't and they don't. Because they're not really interested in observance of the law. All they're really interested in is a cover for their bigotry. McCain, Romney, Huckabee, Paul and Juliani are all moral failures in their pandering to bigots. All have compromised their moral stature pandering to bigots.
