Plants have feelings

    Personally I see no evidence plants have feelings. A lack of a nervous system leaves me pretty sure otherwise. But rather or not a plant can feel does not make factory farming of animals any more or less humane. It doesn't make killing animals for food anymore or less humane. The ethics of killing plants for food is IMHO a separate topic from the ethics of killing animals for food.
