I thought this movie was great. It wasnt an exciting film but more of a film that draws you into it. It was very sad in my opinion, but it had some funny parts in it. It was about a man who lost family in the 9/11 plane to Boston, and he tries to forget about it but everyone around keeps trying to talk to him about it. I got pissed at some scenes where they wouldnt leave him alone, they should quit trying to bring it up, who wants to sit around talking about how they lost their daughters and wife? Its a great movie and I encourage everybody to watch it.
I felt Jada Pinkett Smith was underused a bit, and her scenes with Don Cheadle were a bit dull. Adam Sandler is an excellent actor though. It was a good film.
Yea, just watched it yesterday first time. Liked it, too. A sad movie, yet makes your heart feel warm. These are the things you do for those whom you love and care about. I like it because it is very practical.
I thought this movie was pretty darn terrible. There are better dramas out there about loss, and this one is just so generic and bland. Sandler was pretty good (at times because he tends to "over do it" in certain parts), but overall it was pretty lame. The little side story about the woman that comes onto Cheadle is so predictable. Then at the end it becomes a court room drama? C'mon. Terrible movie.
well you have your own opinion, but to somebody else, it may be something they can relate to. Like losing family in 9/11. I can see the movie being real life anyday.
I really thought it was a good movie. I wanted to slit my wrists after but it was good. Sandler didn't play his regular douche-self and I think he can actually act now
OMG i loved this movie. Sandler did such an awesome job and I think he carried the role so well. I am so used to seeing him in comedic roles and this was a good change. I really loved Don Cheadle's character too.
i really liked the movie as well. i thought it was a great portrayal of how everyone's life is just a little fucked up, and we're all just in it together, trying to find ourselves, and find what makes us happy. i also really like sandler, in all of his faces.
