they're great. don't shave 'em off. you'll start falling in love with them in a few months, it's just the early stages that can be a little rough. persevere!

NICE ONES what do you mean by "most of the back combing has fallen out" ?? dreads fall when backcombed? sry bout the question im dread beginner and thx and peace =p
If you backcomb your hair to start dreads, chances are they'll fall out(the backcombing job, loosen up etc..) quite a bit before tangling back up again on their own. It's not bad, but it can be frustrating
