Why did Shatner have to ruin Lucy in the Sky for me!!!??? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-yy2URAYqU&feature=related Please cheer me up, hipsters!
I'd like to hear him sing it lol Lucy...lucy in the sky.....in the sky with diamonds lol monotone FTW!
With all the things Shatner brought us, cell phones, interracial dating, ion propulsion and VERY fast food, I am willing to accept that he has so little musical talent (although "Common People" was a fairly humorous song). I'm amazed he's still working at all. But then, Hugh Hefner still has 3 girlfriends! CF
Naaaa, I was listing all the cool stuff he is credited with and that I was willing to accept his lack of musical talent since he contributed so many other things. Remember, he kissed Nickelle Nichols, first time ever on TV! CF
It was a Star Trek episode from the original series that started in the late 60s. Surely it made it across the ocean by now. I forget the name of the episode, something about Greek Gods. In it this race of people had telepathic and telekinetic powers. They made Spock perform a love scene and then had Kirk kiss Uhura, which had never happened on TV before. She was also in a pivotal role because she was a ship's officer and routinely issued orders. "Vulcans never bluff" - Spock
Haha, alright! Yeah, I'm sure those have been broadcasted here. I only saw a few of the newer series though.
I can see and also agree with most of the things that makes the Voyager and The next generation series unbelievable and lame, but I like the setting very much . The storylines and some of the sf technology in the old movies I watched are not better at all in my opinion. I guess it's just nostalgic for people who grew up with the original series. But I suppose we're getting rather offtopic.
