How often do you wash yourselves?

Hippies in the 60's seemed not to clean themselves very often(some of them didn't at all,as far as I know).I was just wondering if the new generation is more "clean" than the former one.

 

hehe ive never heared that before. My dad was a hippy and id say the only times he wouldnt wash would be because he had no where to do it (say when backpacking around the world or at a festival)

I'm not eactly a hippy... but i do wash... i try to use natural soaps though.

Back in the day, alot of the folk would have been under different living arrangements, and didnt' have a shower available to them everyday.

But if your living in a place where theres a shower, then there's really no reason why you can't take one everyday.

Every day, I always somehow manage to get a shower or wash when I'm camping too.. I am a wimp about dirt

about 2-3 times a week

 

i wash about every two days... its healthyier than washing every day

 

every day unless I'm feeling lazy

 

just once a day, sometimes using soaps.

 

I shower at least 5 times a day...

I'm serious! 5 times a day....Not always using soap....But I feel the need to be constantly clean...

I only bathe once or twice a month.

Seriously, it freaks other people out but I'm quite comfortable this way.

I hate showering. I don't mind being clean but I loathe showering because my hair and skin are high maintence and my personalitys not so it makes it a hassel. Meh.

 

Once or twice a week, usually. If you shower more than once about every two days it gets rid of your body's natural oils. And oils are good. I basically wait until I start to smell funny. Or really funny. 'Cause deoderant weirds me out.

 

the dirty hippie thing was started more as a put down than a fact, due to the long hair and the clothing styles. I know I'm hygenic. Most everyone I know is.
Alot of 14yr olds cab get away with not bathing as often because those glands haven't kicked in totally yet. When yah wanna start getting with the opposite sex I bet there will be changes in that behavor.~*

once on monday and once on fiday
but i swim alot so that keeps me clean i guess

 

HAha thats funny, i have a shower everday exept weekends.

 

I wash myself every day,sometimes twice.I like to feel clean.

 

I shower fairly religiously twice a day. Just don't like to feel dirty.
