Dig, anyone seen it? whats ur opinion

    dig is a documentary about 2 bands the brianjonestown massacre and the dandy warhols i thought it was awesome. What did u guys think?

    i enjoyed this flick....
    the two bands have an interesting chemistry btw each other.
    the guys in the brianjonestown massacre are sick!

    yeah total freak. i like the way they both started out as these idealistic bands that wanted to make really important music. then the dandy warhols realised they just wanted success and sold out. great doco though. the interview with the filmmaker in the extras made the process sound very painful. if you liked this, i think you will like 'the devil and daniel johnston' very good doco.

    i saw this movie a while ago
    i remember it now
    the dandy warhols kept it toghether
    in a tough music world
    to be the next best thing or so they
    seemed and thought they had their 15 minutes
    in the sun

    i remember the other band being
    really intense and the lead singer
    may have cut of his nose despite
    his face to keep his ideals
    i remember i didn't like the music

    interesting doco, the way the bands
    journey was done side by side and just a
    little self indulgent which wasn't so bad
    i will have to check out the other docu mentioned

    Great movie. I was a big BJM fan some years ago and had heard about it. Anton's a complete genius but he's also outta his mind. Kinda reminds me of Syd
