    Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances

    Whats to protest?

We should protest it. In the US it's our constitutional right of free speech to protest free speech. Once the right to free speech has ended we will no longer need to, or be able to protest free speech anymore.

So are you protesting the 1st amendment, or the fact that this adminstration and congress have seen fit to impinge on it?

Methinks Prezzo-dent Butch's Deministation is doing all it can't to attend to our excessive freedoms. Luckily, you won't be able to protest anything legally very soon.

Good. Legal protests are weak and boring; illegality of protests will cause protests of much greater intensity.

Free speech isn't the problem, the problem is no-one seems to know how to use it for anything worth while. Like this post for instance absolutely no value. I mean you want to protest the one thing that gives normal people "without millions of bucks to back their words up"the right to say that george bush and any other aristocratic asshole can suck this dick. Hardly an issue to protest in my humble opinion. But you have the right to say what you will even if it is childish and ill conceived.

Why protest the fist amendmant??? It gives the right to people like me who can't do anything like voite to say "hey what the hell are you thinking? to our govenor who grants us money for an electric sign in a small town that some people who live in Springfield don't even know existist, even though we are practically a suburb of springfeild, when our one tiny park is falling apart. Shouldn't the money go there??" Also it gives people to walk up to people considered above them bosses or principals for students and say "hey we don't have a recycaling program and the people here really cram down there sodas. So what the hell are you standing around here for? Get on that!!!" As a matter of fact the amendmant in which you are protesting actually gives you the right to protest it. Lets not forget the other freedoms the first amendmant gives us like the freedom to worship anything from ants on the sidewalk to Budah and Alah, and the freedom to assemble!!!!!it's hipocritical to protest the thing that gives you the right to protest!!!!!!!!!
