Morrissey wants to perform in Iran?

I hear Morrissey is trying to obtain permission to play in Tehran, Iran sometime in 2008. Personally I don’t think he has a chance of being allowed in, and I really can’t see what he wants to achieve in playing there, but hey that’s just me. What do you think, is he in or out?

Geez this is the third time i've seen this. how about this one. who would go to iran to see morrissey. i just missed him in nyc cause he got "sick." if i didn't love him so much i'd hate him for that one.
