my dreadies will be 11 months soon! heres a few pics- they dont look like much but theres some awesome fat dreads under all the frizz and loose hair. i cant believe its almost been a year! heres my friend, tims dreads- our dreads are the same age, but his destroy mine lol. i guess thats the difference palm rolling makes. i backcombed his better than mine too since i could actually see them and his stayed in perfectly for some reason.
I love your dreads! Especially because we have the same hair texture, it's an inspiration for me to start mines
thanks for the awesome comments goatboy- im so proud of myself for not cutting them off, now i couldnt imagine being without them r lee- this is backcombing (which fell out) followed by neglect.
i backcombed tims and he gets me to do occaisional maintenance on them like pulling in loose hairs. also, he palm rolls them in the shower which he swears is what makes them look so good. hes a bit of a perfectionist, hed never be able to go neglect lol.
