Which soap would you prefer? The dreadheadhq shampoo, or the Knotty Boy Bar Soap? Reasons for disliking one or the other? And if you use one or the other right now, how is it?

    Neither.

All natural & handmade is where it's at.

    Speaking of, actually!

I ditched Bronners liquid cause of the super hard water here in SoCal, it was leaving awful buildup no matter how much I diluted it.
So I bought DreadFX soap, which I must say - I love [IMG]

I didn't buy a bar of Bronners cause I hate the smell of tea tree and bronners seems to be very strong with it, but still wanted it for my hair.. DreadFX was the answer.

    Man I love their soap.

Oh, I thought bronners was unscented. I guess I'll stick to bars since diluting shampoo seems too confusing :)

But it's kind of hard for me to get dr.bonners atm, and especially since I haven't started my dread journey yet I figured I should go with something like the Knotty Boy Bar Soap, since it's the only thing from Knotty boy that I see some users here actually using, and LIKING. As for that dreadheadhq shampoo, all I've heard is negative things about it.

And that DreadFX site seems pretty dope!

you can buy unscented Dr. Bronner's bar soap. They typically have it at Wegmans in the organic/all natural section if you have one of those around you.

Health food stores should sell soap, shampoo. Don't stress about it, just don't be stocking up on Herbal Essecnses (sp?) lol

Seriously. Just buy a bar of soap from the health food store and wash when needed, rinse well and every couple weeks/mths whenever you need it, use the Deep cleaning concoction recipe posted in these pages somewhere.

Ok , umm I thought you were asking something else, LMAO
I have never used those shampoos/soaps you are asking about, when I had my first set, I just bought handmade all natural tea tree soap ;)
    or patchouli, or mint.

I heard that to qualify for the term "all natural" a product only needs a small percentage of truly natural ingredients, so i stick with stuff that says "organic"

Good point, which is why reading ingredients comes into play ;)
    Or looking for "organic".

i have both, have never used the dreadhead junk, someone just gave it to me with a bunch of wax so i took that as a bad sign! i use knottyboy bars, but i'm going to be switching to bronners asap (as soon as i finish the bars up). i should make my own, but i don't have all the ingredients right now...
