I usually wear make-up when I go out. Not too much, though. Lipstick, lip gloss, occasionally some eye-liner and I always use nail polish.
I have quit wearing nail polish, and keep my nails very short. I work on bikes, and grease can build up and they get broken if too long. However, I'm very, very fairly complected, so I will usually wear a powder with SPF so I don't look too much like a corpse. I love my white skin, but not when you can see little vessels through some of it.
i hardly ever wear makeup. I really don't see the point in spending forever to paint myself up as someone else. I'm an actress. The only time I wear makeup is on stage.
Meh, I think there is more to make-up than just "painting yourself up as someone else." To each their own...
That's a cool way to look at it. I wear make-up, but only organic make-up from the healthfood store. Pretty much the only place I trust and know that noneo f that shit goes into their make-up. I don't wear much though.
I wear eyeliner almost every day, but just a bit. I like to wear fun eyeshadow on occasion, too. It's fun to play with color. I don't find anything wrong with it.
i only wear make up when i'm going out somewhere fancy, like for dinner or something.. or when i can be bothered... which isnt often
Not much, usually eye liner, maybe eye shadow, lipgloss, maybe some powder. But I spend a lot of tim away camping and figure - what's the point!
I do wear makeup. But even when I first started, I always tried (and still do) and make it look as natural as possible. The way I see it, if you can tell you're wearing makeup, then what's the point? I use some powder/concealer, and a bit of lipstick. That's all. I can't be bothered with eyeliner and the such. I've been told many times that I don't need it, but it still makes me feel better with it on Less is more...in my opinion
Actually, it's Minnesota that was the first state to put a ban on mercury from being used in makeup products, and it officially started just yesterday. As for the original question, I sometimes wear makeup. I'm not really a pro at putting it on, so it's usually minimal. Sometimes when I'm at home and bored, I will experiment with heavier makeup, just for the fun of it. As for makeup not being "natural" and what not, what do you think about such things as sunscreen, chapstick, lotions, etc? Those all take away from the face's natural state. Wearing any sort of jewelry, clothes, and so on aren't natural either. Sure, somethings like clothes for warmth can be necessary, but lets face it, clothes have alternative meanings. I don't know who here all believes in evolution and what not, but for those who do, the purpose of life is to get your genes into the next generation. Wearing makeup, jewelry, certain clothes, dying hair a certain color, and so forth can all be considered means of getting attraction, which is the step in the right direction if, you know, you want your genes passed on. Just my 2 cents.
I love to wear makeup- it's fun and you can do just about anything with it. I also am a theatre major, so it goes with the territory, especially when I'm performing in Rocky Horror as Frank.
I don't like to wear make-up because i feel like i've got a thick layer of something on my face, even if i don't wear much. The natural look is more attractive to me but each to their own. Peace.......
i wear it when my acne flares up. i'm a fiend for purple eye shadow. although i don't Tammy Faye Baker it, you know?
I don't see the point in why females wear that kind of shit, there all look beautiful with out it. thats just my opinion peace and much love to you all
I wear concealer & powder, mascara and eye shadow most days. I don't see anything wrong with it because just a little bit of make up makes me look a lot better. People at school wear tons of foundation and stuff and it looks awful because you can see it so clearly. And it's like orange. Eww.
