my dad came into my room today and asked if i smoke because i have no money saved up. first off i get 250 every two weeks and they way i smoke mary jane is so little. it cost me 20 bucks maybe every two months. i reall ended up spending all my money on my friends and food and gas and basically i dont save money. i would love nothing more to tell me dad, but knowing him hed kick me out, and go to my friends house and blame him. i dont want to cause drama and have no place to go. my mom is cool with it and even asked to buy my bowl off me one day. but no one in our family really talks to her because of her promblems with drinking and lying and back stabbing everyone she knows. maybe if i sit him down and just say its not a big deal, i only smoke before i go to bed now, and its not expensive but i doubt that would work. what happend when you guys broke the news to parents?

My parents lived during the 60s and 70s and never got involved in the counter culture, so why try to resurrect something that clearly doesn't jive with them.
Well the first time I got busted was by mom and she grouded me for a couple weeks. Now 3 more times being caught by her and two by the police she lets me smoke in the house so that I don't go out and get caught.

I hope you're not reffering to getting caught 5 times! No offense dude, but it's not that hard to not get busted. I mean, everyone gets into an "oh shit" situation sometimes, could happen to anyone. But 5 times buddy??
My dad was like that too. He works for the state, and is paranoid that someone will come searching through his house. I haven't lived there in going on 6 years now though. But when I did he never liked me to have stuff in the house.
In regards to this statement, that's not necessarily false. While I agree it's way paranoid (like wtf would cops be doing searching around the house in the first place) it's not uncommon for people to get busted to have possessions seized in certain states. I know certain southern states if you're caught with pot in your car they seize your car. Not just tow it away and you have to pay to get it out, they fuckin TAKE IT. Some states have out of control drug laws.
yeah my parents are divorced, i dont care about my moms feelings anymore so i dont think it matters what i say about her. anywho i guess your all right by not makin a big deal about it. i mean i graduate in june so just a little ways to go then im on my own
