I have two left and I asked my dentist to get rid of both, one one day, and the next day the other one. I'm gonna suffer but wanna get that shit done. They don't hurt me, really. They just push my teeth together and if I don't get rid ofd them my teeth are gonna look crazy. So they'll have to operate to pull them out; open and then stiches.. the whole painful gross thing. BUT I'M GETTING IT DONE ALL NEXT WEEK!!
Man. Crazy. A wisdom tooth just started coming in for me today. The pain sucks. I'm glad that I have an awesome tooth arrangement though... so I can leave all of my wisdom teeth in my mouth without them bothering me.

Mine are half in...they hurt like once a year for a day or two and it does suck but I don't want to spend the money to get them out because I am retarded
I had mine out two years ago. The surgery itself didn't hurt (they had me knocked out with an IV ) but I had a couple days when I was recovering that were pretty bad, but it was tolerable because I had percocets (which help a lot) and phenergan to counteract the nausea percs cause, not to mention my sis, a TV and just feeling good from the drugs. I had a very nice dentist, did I not? I was naughty though, the night I got back from getting them out I ate a slice of pizza (which is a no no) but nothing happened. I had a really good experience I would say. Good luck!

Had one of mine pulled last year. It was not bad at all. Of course the Vicodin helped. That was a cool week!
They give you guys retardly powerful drugs for getting your teeth pulled. I got mine taken out at 16, and they just gave me two needles of a local anathesthic. I drove home after, and took advil for a couple of days. Vicodin and Perocets? I wish I'd done it your way.
i got two pulled last year, now i need to get the other two done. didnt need stitches or nothin thankfully. was told to take ibuprofen. lived on consomme, tomato soup, crackres and water. and smoothies. i already booked midterm break in feb off of work because thats when i plan on getting htem pulled and will need to recover (rather than miss school for it)
That sucks you guys weren't give anything at all. I would've been in a pickle, since OTCs really don't work for me anymore. I'm pretty sure you can ask for something stronger.
i did get um, whatis, vicodin i think? anti-anxiety shit anyway. im nearly phobic about the dentist..
i had all 4 pulled at once, and they were all at weird angles so they took forever to heal. one got horribly infected and the side of my face swelled up a bit. i got hydrocodone though, and that helped a tiny bit. it didnt take away any pain, it just made me care less about it.
It wasnt a big deal for me at all, I got the IV sedation too. It really wasnt bad because they give you all kinds of amnesia drugs. Then you get to spend the spend the next week junked out on vicodin. After a day or two I had no pain even without the drugs. Eating was the hardest part.
i dont get why youd get one pulled one day then the other the next day, seems like itd less pain to get it all done at once. I got my wisdom teeth out last year, they hurt like hell. It didnt feel good at all, except when I was on Oxycodones. I was pretty much fucked for a good two weeks.
It's not a scam. It can cause a lot of pain for some people if there isn't room in your mouth. Apparently (bigidiot) your dentists were wrong about yours.
Mine have started to come in, but thankfully they rarely hurt me. Ironically, I'm only aware of them when I'm high. They don't necessarily hurt, it's just kind of a dull ache, but not much of anything. I have a lot of room in my mouth, so I guess I could keep them. I can't afford to get them out anyway.
I got all 4 of mine taken out about 9 months ago. hey, put it this way.. you get really good drugs during and after the operation. the secret code you tell them is : heroin
