I have yet to taste Tofu. I have looked for it everywhere!

I cannot find Veggie Dogs, nor Veggie Burgers, or anything of the sort. Anybody know some local places to grab them.

What lane in the store should I look for them,
For Example: "Healthy foods" "Meat, Etc.

    Peace and Love, John.

It will be found in the cooler section usually, often by the veggies somewhere.

Ask for it. Its not nearly as hard to find as it once was.

Personally, I never developed a taste for it.

Yup, I saw some today. The Veggie Burgers didn't look as appealing and tasty as I hoped, but everything else seemed in place.

I didn't have the money to grab any though, but hopefully next time I'll be able to taste some.

Thanks for the advice on where to get it.

    Peace and Love, John.

Don't hold tofu to the taste of premade meals. I've tried store bought veggie burgers, smartdogs, chickenless nuggets and several other tofu meals, and hated every one. Thats just me, a lot of people like them. But the thing is, I've been able to home make several tofu meals that tasted good. So at least a couple of times you should try cooking it yourself.

Do you want tofu or the fake meat stuff? There is a difference. Tofu is a traditional food and there are many good recipes for it. If prepared right it can be very yummy. The fake meats (veggie dogs, veggie burgers, etc.) may or may not be made out of tofu, but usually soy parts and other things that are typically found in highly processed foods. I would advise staying away from the fake meats as they are usually not very good or good for you.

Tofu isent really somthing thats that tasty on its own. Its more of an ingrediant. You can think of a block of tofu like a chunk of raw chicken. If you just eat it plain its dissgusting. You have to prepare it to make it taste good. If you dont want to have a good first experiance with it, go to a chineese resturant and order a tofu dish. If you like general tsos, most places make it with tofu as well. Or now adays at most chineese places you can have them make preatty much any dish with tofu. Next time your out just order your favorite dish with tofu instead of the normal protien in the dish. Because if you try to cook it for yourself the first time, you will hate it.

Why would you hate it if you cooked it? The internet is full of tasty tofu recipe, many of which are extremely simple.
