Well to start off, i live in Latvia (Post soviet unuion country) that is in eastern europe. I was on a vacation to Ucrain for my aunts wedding. I met the most beutyfull and smart and well the best girl ever. From those 10 days we spent togheter 3 of them. I fell in love for the first time in my life, i could say it was my first love ( i have had other relations but that doesn't count) because thats the first time i have felt such attraction. I thought that it was just a small affair that it was more the situation i met her at then her personality. I thought i would forget her in the first month. I was wrong as heck, its been almoust a year and i still can't forget her i am going crazy its something i can't explain to myself since i have felt like this for the first time. And now i don't know what to do, i cant do anything. I have her in my mind all the time but i dont know what to do. Since the distance is about a 1000 km (600 miles) and i cant be with her all the time and i know that she enjoyed that time with me also but if i start wryting her that would be useless since i would just restrict her for relationships with others yet i couldn't be with her and i couldn't give her anything. So i dont know what to do. I had a thought of flying over to her and take her to my country for a month, but would that be right since i would just remind her of me but couldn't be with her because of school. And whats the use of working 2 moths of summer if she would'nt want to come? I hope you can give me some advice and feel free to write your long distance relationship stories. P.S. Distance is always a hard thing to deal with. My advice is to get to know someone closer to where you live. There are lots of people in the world, and I'm sure you'll be able to love another person!
Trust your instincts not logic. Go for it , but try and remain level headed. Chances are she wont be the only girl who';ll ever blow your mind. If it doesnt work out it doesnt matter. Sure distance aint ideal ,but then if she had always lived in Poland , she wouldnt be the same person. I met a Russian girl in Europe and thought she was absolutely terrific. ( hence long rambling posts asking for advice on here under my other username). ( maybe it was part down to the fact Im part Russian /Ukr blood) Distance was a pain up the arse , as were other things , but the important thing is to satisfy your wondering what itll be like. Oh man, I've had this come up a few times. I'm from Russia but I've lived in Canada since 95, but still speak fluent russian. So, anyway just a few years ago the most beautiful russian girl from moscow was visiting she was here with her parents for 2 months. I managed to bypass her parents and spend about a month. We never had sex but we did make out a lot and she was just so damn hot. She went back but of course I hoped to see her again. Nope. Then earlier on, the first girl I had sex with, we kept a long distance relationship, well, an hour's drive apart when neither of us was any close to getting a car lol. We use to see each other a few times a month, but spent plenty of time in the summer together, that lasted for bout 1 and a half years. Another long distance relationship I had was with a girl from Ottawa not too long ago. We did have sex several times but we only saw each other for like a week or two every 3 or so months. That lasted for about 10 months. But between countries like that? Nah, it'll never work unless you're both like christian virgins and have made some kind of marriage pact.

Hello i'll give you an absolute answer from somone in a 8 month long relationship over 900 miles and im 13 For one it totally depends on what kind of person you and her are, if you belive love should not be restricted by where or who you are thats a start but she must think the same. Also if you belive in "going out" basically not finding the right person it won't work. I meen that if u have long distance relationship it MUST be TRUE LOVE nothing else will be strong enough to hold it together. if... u get past that it's completly possible but the big thing is you BOTH MUST think and belive and nearly the exact basis when it comes down to relationships. also it takes patience and ALOT of it you have to make the time you have count and have a way to be closer one day because belive me after 6 months you'll have thoughts off glueing yourself to her well hope that helps ( sorry for the length by the way )
