Alright, so a few days back my hubby and i were planning to go see his dad. for 4 days, While i was at my next door neighbours Ok i'll start from the beginning. it might be a lil long, i'll shorten it. A few days back i was taking care of my across the hall next door neighbours cats, well my next door neighbour got mad and said shes supposed to because he asked her too (but she was out gambling)... So when i went to her place just to say good morning like a nice neighbour she knew we were going away for 4 days and we have 2 cats at home They get more than enough food 7 bowls of food 7 bowls of water and 1 of them is toilet trained. So i'm over her place and she threatened me that she would call the Humane society because i'm a inhumane person. I love animals so friggin much. i have had 10 dogs 6 cats i don't really have to justify myself. So after all the bicker i told my hubby that was the klast straw with her i asked my upstairs neighbour if they wouldn't mind keeping a eye on them. i did however contact my vet and told her what the lady said they laughed. i wouldn't aklso hand over my keys to her she stated to me " i want a set of your keys while your gone" what would you think? NOW, what i'm wondering is; Tomorrow i'm going back home i need advice on HOW to approach this nosy neighbour i don't want to say F off there NEEDS to be boundaries for sure i want no contact nothing but i don't know how to say it without being rude . i'm stumped. She really hurt my feelings and shes 67 y/o, like c'mon. anyways i just though ti'd put this on here before i went home .. wish me luck!!
Well you could say "mind your own business", but that's just a less rude way of saying "fuck off". I'm not saying you should do it, but I think that sometimes you have to be blunt about things regardless of the other person's age. Anyway, what I'd do is delegate the task of confronting my neighbor to someone more diplomatic and even-tempered than I am - but that's because I don't have a lot of patience dealing with other people. I'd probably snap at her. Perhaps your husband could talk to her instead? Assuming he's a better diplomat than you, that is.
To me honestly calling the humane soc is like calling CAS on a parent. SHE knows and shes yanking my chains that i cannot have children . i have step kids. So she hold my cats that i have over my head. This is a new yr so i want to start off fresh. I think what i'll do is read my stress free book and that will give me some tips. I really have to stay away from negativity with his semester coming up. thanks man
Well my arrival at home went fine TILL i found out what my neighbour had done while i was gone. So my husband and I talked things over and we are going to be disassociating with her TOTALLY!!!
Just because she's old doesn't mean she doesn't deserve to be told off like any other asshole. Give her the finger. Damn old people.
this lady came into our place while another neighbour was watching our cats (knowing we were not home) put the other neighbour in a awkward position, and we specifically told her ew do not want you having our key watchingour cats nothing. she opened our bdrm door?? For what i have no clue . I know the other neighbour really well, so she did not let her in. she walked in herself because the other neighbour fed our cats and the door was opened. so she invited herself in. So how about them apples. Talk about invading our privacy, trespassing, etc. Needless to say she has been calling our relatives for absolutely no reason. omgoodness. I was taught to respect my elders but i have absolutely no respect for this one
You shouldn't respect elders anymore than you respect anyone else. In this case, fuck her man. Sounds like you have a pretty weird apartment complex.

how the hell did she get teh phone numbers for your relatives? you need to ask her to back the hell off, because she aint gonna stop calling them and harassing you until youve asked her to take a few steps back

I have absolutely nothing to say TO her IF i face her i'd probably have to think long and hard what i would want to say . Have to go on dr. Phil to help me out rotflrho.
