Anyone Live or Been To Camden?
I'm reading a book called "Camden after the Fall" I moved to Philly but I've still never been, and it seems TOTALLY FUCKED UP right now.

I'm right outside of Philly. Iv'e been to Camden for a show or somethin and the aquarium. It's a dirty place and I've only heard bad things about it. I think it's in the top 5 worst cities in america.

I've been to the aquarium and that general riverside area. Not to mention passing through for the Ben Franklin and the train. Nothing special, really.

Camden is mess right now. The reason is because all the drugs are being shipped to philly from south america and the gangs are shooting up people over them. also because the mayor sucks

The towns just outside of Camden are pretty good though. I basically grew up there (in Audubon).

If you're white, don't go to camden, or if you don't know any people stay the fuck out.

No offence, but it's for your own good.

If you look for the bomb bud, camden is where its at.

i went to school in camden - both undergrad and law school. the university district is very sanitized and the nearby neighborhood is dowright gentrified. the ben franklin bridge is an awesome walk for fitness or just to see the city light up. there just something fun about parking at rutgers, and drinking a well concealed mixed drink on the walk over, and just ending up in old city with a buzz. i've done it with a joint too - but its dangerous because the bridge is patrolled.

north of the bridge is a shit pit, though as you get further west it gets less dangerous.

    waterfront south is a disgrace.

haddon ave is drivable, but i wouldn't wander around

ferry ave and mt ephraim ave get nasty in that area between the outskirts of the city and down town.

Not being rude or judgemental, but camden is GHETTO.
i lived in the next town over for all of my childhood, and it's bad.

Been through Camden on foot, on bus and on a PATCO train. Not exactly the place I want to be in for too long. :(
