    Hey guys

I'm just two days into not combing my hair and Ive got 2 bits that resemble locks! What I started doing was pulling apart at the ends of the hairs that were already tangled up.
My question is this, Ive been looking near the roots and the hair that makes up the lock is from a spread out patch almost sort of two separate squares inches, should I leave it or should I start again? I dont want to end up with massive thick dreads I quite like them thin.

    Thanks for reading :)

I would imagine with the neglect method things are going to congo together and you will get big dreads in the long run. To avoid having big dreads I would think backcombing is the best choice so you can choose the size of them to some degree.
