I've been wearing a seamless ring for a while, and I'm having some problems. The seam is slightly uneven, and its as even as I can get it...so when the seam passes through the hole in my lip it hurts. Once it even got stuck...ouch! Is there anything I can do to keep it from moving around? It usually happens when I'm eating or kissing.
umm... do you have a picture of what this lip ring looks like. cuz i have no flippin idea what your talking about. and i have snake bites.
I have a seamless ring in my nose. Basically, its a ring without a bead to hold it together. The ends just but up against eachother. I've seen another type with a hinge and a little clasp thing that looks seemless when closed. Anyway, if its like mine, the get tweaked after a while and need to be replaced to get a perfect fit. Thats the only suggestion I have, The other thing you could do is take a regular captive bead ring and turn the beadd inside your lip. It'lll give you the same look
Hm, never seen one's where the ends just go together like that, the only actual seemless rings I know of are the ones where there is a segment tha goes in like a captive bead ring (so instead of a ball, its an actual segment of the ring itself), which kind exactly are you wearing? I've used the kind with the segment that you pop in like a captive bead ring before and haven't had any issues (though it was a 4 ga ring)
Its just a metal ring. I've been thinking of trying the pop-in segment kind because I like the ring look better than studs...and I can't wear the kind with beads, I've tried, my lip's too fat.
you know they make those rings in different diameters right? since your lip is too "fat", heh. Try looking for a larger diameter. I know bodyartforms.com has a few options and I'm pretty sure they have a few diameters (and they're decently priced, I bought a bunch of 1" stone plugs for 20 bucks a pair, thats a steal at 1"!)
no problem I'm all for helping out, gotta bunch of experience when it comes to piercings (and stretching them, heh, currently at 6 piercings ranging from 4 ga to 1", nothing smaller)
