Yeah, it was a great film. I love the music in it too, just absolutely amazing. I was really surprised with all the joking about americans and all that. I posted a similar thread a while ago, it's probably a couple of pages back by now.

i also loved it; the animation and music were fantastic. i acutally saw benoit charest, the writer of the music, and the musicians who recorded the soundtrack live at the montreal jazz festival

I must admit that I hated the animation on this film but the music is the best I have ever heard in a film before, well worth watching just for the sounds!

what i loved about the movie was the sparse dialogue, most emotions were expressed by other means (old lady's facial expressions)

What I find interesting about movies like this is that it shows us the difference between the pacing in American movies in contrast to that of films from other countries. Which also may, in turn, reflect the pace in which they/we live. I found 'Triplets' very refreshing in this regard, despite the fact that, before I thought about it, the pacing threw me off.

The style was the likes of which I'd never seen before, and the soundtrack was perfect.

Someone said the plot is simple, but I found that for a movie without dialogue, it was actually kind of complicated. Loved the film in every single aspect.
