Well last wensday my rents barged into my room as I was going to rip my bong. I had it in my closet so it wasnt out in the open. I heard them coming so I put the bong down and hid it. My lighter was out. So my parents questioned me for about 10 mins about the lighter. I denied all and said they have nothing to worry about. My mom left my room then my Dad came in. He said no smoking cigs ok? and I said thats no problem sir. So then he goes oh no other stuff also. So I go other stuff? He says dont play dumb Nick and winks at me and leaves. So they took my lighter and the next day my dad serched my room probibly trying to find cigs that I stole from him ( my rents smoke MAD amouts of cigs). He has started to know cigs are missing but my brother is taking them. So after the serch they found nothing. All they had to do was open the box under my laundry and they would find my bong ahahah. So heres the tops. I go to get a pop last night. And my lighter in on the counter with there smokes. They are using my fucking lighter! ahaha!
id take it back. if it was mine i would be pissed. they shouldent take from you like kids shouldent take from their parents.
Yea I kinda thought it was bullshit. Atleast someone is getting use out of it aha. It was a 25 cent lighter at the dollar store. I get 4 for a buck. If it was a zippo or some shit I would be pissed. At least they know that im only smoking weed. They were alot more worried when I was drinking. As they should of been.
Yeah he should totally take it from them and piss off his parents. Why bother spending 50 cents to buy a new one from the liqour store when you can just be a rebel?
its called having principals. My parents taught me never to steal so for them to do it i'd be pissed.
Maybe I missed the part where they stole his lighter. They caught him smoking weed(basically) and they confiscated his lighter. That's not stealing. His parents seem pretty chill compared to some of the stories on here(Y'all live in the Bible Belt or something?) and you're talking about him taking stuff that they've confiscated. Yeah, that's going to make them act this laidback the next time they catch him smoking. I'm sure his dad will just wink at him again and walk away remembering about the times he was sneaking around his house as a teen getting high.
Sounds like a close call! Maybe you should think about getting a lock for your door or something, lol =D Forget the lighter... you can always get a new one.
