Well I did my fun thing again this year. I bought stuff for people i did not know and my Christmas I drove to different places and aske the person working (all were gas station places) "How they got stuck working on Christmas?" The ones that answered in ways I liked I gave them a nice crisp $100.00 bill for doing something good for others. #1 reason was "they were working so people with new families, or family ect could spend time with them" Such an act should be rewarded and so I did what I could. Pretty cool, they look at you like either your crazy or where is the hidden camera, lol I just handed it to them, said thanks and walked away.
That is amazing! We had a few mystery santa's around here too, handing out cards with $50-$100 on the streets.
Yank, you're seriously one of the coolest people I've ever met. If more people were genuinely good-hearted as you, the world would be a much better place to live in, and I'd be a lot more enthusiastic about the idea of bringing another life into the world.
Well thanks I just think its a total kick. I am sure if alot more people did it, it would likely loose its luster to me. Its great catching people off guard. The funniest was paying for a duded dinner at a truck stop. He was at a different table and I saw him counting his money you know like he was sorta tapped so I called the waitress over, told her to put his meal on my tab and not say who did it. When he asked for his tucket she said it was already paid for. He starts looking all around with this face that almost made me loose it. He was like asking her are you sure and stuff and looking around its was awesome. Yep I have an odd sense of humor, if only i could hit the lottery, man I would travel all over doing it.
No, I agree. It's definitely been one of my dreams to go around and give to unsuspecting people and when I start bringing in a steady paycheck it's one of my plans to commit random acts of kindness every so often. You just know it's something they'll remember forever.
wow you're a really nice person! especially buying that guy's dinner at a truck stop. doing random acts of kindness make you feel so good inside, and it's kinda funny too, catching them off guard and seeing the looks on their faces
