Red Spade's Songs - Link Hey, I wanna know where i stand for my age... Need Input On My: 1. Flow 2. Lyrics 3. Quality 4. Potential 5. Style Once Again Heres My Myspace / Music Page! : WWW.MYSPACE.COM/REDSPADEE Ight! Hit Me Back! :H
hmmm, i like it man. for sure. your flow, style, lyrics, and all that are good. i mean, you've got talent. the only thing i can say is, so far, i don't hear anything too incredibly original or different from alot of what i hear on TV. and i dunno about you, but i wouldn't wanna be lumped in with alot of the garbage rap on TV and radio. same goes for the music. they beats are kinda bland, i think. i'm a person who focuses on the music and beats, just as much as the flow and style of the rapper. my advice would be to collaborate with someone who has some cool original style, you know? or, if you make em yourself, try comin up with some original sounds and samples for your songs. hell, i've heard twista (dunno if you know him) rap over an old rythm and blues song from the 40s. it was the shit! something i feel about today's rap, is that it lacks alot of the styles and creativity of the old school shit. anyways, i still dig it man. hope this was helpful.
inbloom was on the money. eminem was the same, as a young guy he was amazing, listen to his cd infinite; but a lot of people compared him to nas and az, said he copying, therefore, he wasn't successful. it wasn't until he took acid that he got his originality. no, i'm not saying to take acid, but as inbloom said, originality. but who knows, a good producer could makes a difference. if you would speed up the flow, it'd sound much better, but, as time goes by that should come. but judging for a 15 years old, thats great for your age. its better than most on the radio.
... and he didn't call it physically addictive, the other tool threw in the "physically addictive" crap. Not bad, for rap. (title caught my attention from it's parent forum.)
honestly..... your 15, you just jockin off what you hear and re-hashing it, live a little and find your own style
you need 2 b a little bit more original I no alot of great 15-16 year old rappers in london! They are amazing. And i love they're little freestyle battles that they do in the playground its really entertaining. xxxx
I found it funny how you added all the meanest looking black guys to your myspace to make you look tough....... If you wanna see the worst rapper ever go here www.myspace.com/mindsetakaeternity It's this kid from my old school who thinks he's a dealer. He buys half quads and sells it in 2 days all in 5 buds. I told him I'd give him 20 bucks to stop dealing at the school and he actually took it, the next day he comes back and tries to sell again. I asked him what the fuck was he doing and then he went on about how "nobody fucks with him or some shit" and then he said he stole my friends iPod and traded it for a half ball of coke. It turns out the guy gave him baking soda, then like 10 seconds after I finished laughing some black guy came up and started saying "so i heard you called me a ni**er to the kid and i just backed away because I knew he'd beat him up. He got beat up and then didnt come back. .......Damn I just realized I wasted twenty bucks... I could've just waited for that guy to beat him up because he never dealt again.
You aight but not the best at 15. Got a soundclick? Flow - Your flows pretty tight Lyrics - Same as everyone else, you need style Quality - Quality of what? Be more specific Potential - Pretty high Style - This is where you're lacking, probably because your so young and just aint picked it up yet, you'll get there.
