Romania is going to become part of the EU on January 1, 2007. I don't really expect anything special from it.

The European Union is a hideous globalist scam.

Force people to pay sky high taxes under the pretence its for unemployment insurance and healthcare , then siphon that money thro the central banks to the corporations who are pulling the strings of the whole sleazy show - to exploit differences in tax rates and hence exchange rates - ie send it all to Romania and the nw EU countries etc.

Watch , the older countries go bankrupt because some daft economist (on the puppetmaster corporations payrolls) says its more " economically sensible " to have millions of talented people unemployed in the older EU countries than have them working

Napoleon once said "find the strongest economy there is , and I guarantee that if the economists get hold of it , theyll makle it crumble to dust".And thats exactly what that
    odious EU is.

And lo and behold the concept of "Euro inflation"

The next stage will be stirring up some ethnic hatreds - bring the Middle East into the so called EUropeanUnion ie Turkey!
Well lets face it , the bankers , newspaper owners and political lackeys arent going to be undercut by 3rd World Turkish labour are they?

After that the EU will start bullying on the world stage- American style.
And watch American see to it that CHina falls out with the EU in a BIG way at some point.

And whats the whole point of it all?

A single world government - the elimination of national cultures , a single monstrous legal and economic system.

Whats that you said?"Atleast we have a democracy to vote against it"

Erm.No You mean like those black box voting systems that cant be audited in the US of A?You mean like it hasnt ALREADY been decided Turkey will join the EU?
That Hillary CLinton WONT be the next US president? That every political election debate since the year dot hasnt been twisted beyond recognition be a few press barons?

Nowhere to hide if you disagree.Nowhere to work if youre unemployed- unless you want to work in a factory in China.

Just one BIG Big Brother watching your every move , as you struggle to compete with the armies of slave like labour in places like CHina , and Turkmenistan etc
Places like China that YOUR tax and your pension money built!
Except you probably didnt have a choice in it!

Hmm thats my view of the EU.
BTW I work in international trade and foreign exchange.
And no I wouldnt want to say what I really think infront of those in power.

Well, EU is a great project first of all. I don't think currency is a part of identity anymore, since in the international finance issues people used to convert every number in dollars. But by the introduction of Euro this is more or less changed. The Europeans can now compare the prices and wages so easily, which will creat a more integrated and efficient economy. (in the international trade Ýn EU there will be less problems caused by the currency issues.)
In such a age, where everyone can communicate with each other so easily, i don't think there are large walls seperating people. So people are coming together all ready, and a single government would not accelerate it. (schengen visa) I believe that identities are formed by many different factors such as climate, geography, relationship with others. Even the people, who came from varying regions in the same country, differs from each other; how could someone say that every nation will lose their identity, especially when people speak different languages.
About the buroecracy that is brought by the EU; I can't agree about it more. The funds created is not distributed equally, and it is a major sign about the way things work in EU.

Your expectations, your critics, the common currency and why some state avoided to get into it???
Another way of letting ahistorical economic factors overrule politics, and thereby alienating local decisions further ---> so even more central decisions will be made in Bruxelles on fewer hands, ruled by the corruption of market logics & lobbyism...
All countries are splitted - you can't conceive countries the same way as you conceive people, as when you ask "and why some state avoided to get into it???". I guess the elite consisting of capitalists in all european countries are very eager to join the EU, but that's not necessarily the opinion reflected by people in general...

Which politics should follow the EU in the next years?
None. EU should be abolished and replaced by a decentral confederational network of independent european states.

What countries should be involved yet?
As I think EU should be abolished - none, ofcourse. But all European countries should have their obvious right to join in the network, as I'm suggesting above.

Why Switzerland and Norway aren't members?
Because they're clever... And because they had referendums, apart from France, Germany & UK...

Do you feel being part of this union? Do you have this sort of european feeling?

I don't feel part of an abstract project only created to maintain capitalism.
I certainly got a european feeling. I feel more european than I feel danish.

    love & understanding,

Romania is part of the EU now.

Which means more possibilities for travelling... among other things...
My life has not changed significantly, that is from what my personal life means.

    Actually you were right prattjk.
Maybe not a single "Illuminati" but a group of bored super-rich twits who like to bully and control the whole world , because .. well they can!

I pretty much agree with SelfStyled's post.

We dont hear people complaining on the TV because people dont own the media.
Next time the French and Dutch have referendums , theyll probably borrow George Bxsh's fake voting machines...
