Your job, or what you want to do

Im sure this has been talked about, but what do you want to do when you get out of school and why, or what do you do now?

I think I want to be a high school teacher. The reasons why, I wouldnt be as hard on the kids as some of the dick head teachers that I have, not a bad pay check, and great hours. You get the summer and part of the winter off. I would make it easy on the kids, not give homework only one test a month or something. It would be fairly easy work, and pay alright.

 

Im am going to work in a BMW repair shop and i will get paid $120 an hr. It's nice my cousins hooking me up with a job there once im 16.

 

I work for my brother doing logo design, photoshop work, animation, web design, ad design, and advertising.

I don't really know what I want to be, although I have wanted to be a school teacher just because it would be fun. I would probably want to be an engineer, but I don't know what kind of engineer.

 

ill have to come see ya there, if my car breaks down. I drive a 96 bmw 318i and live right outside of atl. in marietta.

 

I work in a law firm and at a juice bar. blah blah blah.

I don't know what I want to "be" yet though.

 

I want to do something in the field of law, maybe not a lawyer per say, but something of that nature.

 

i work in a print shop, but i am going to school to be a physicist.

 

i want to be in politics like u.s. house and hopefully president in 2028 or later

 

Build a skatepark with my best friend and live off the entrance fees

 

I work at an ice cream/coffee store, and at the zoo.

I plan on working with primates as a career. My eventualy goal is to open a sancturary.

 

I'm 21 and have never had a job yet b/c my parents say they just want me to focus on school and shit.

I'm working on my masters in business and my undergraduate is in investments and finance so I'm going into some area of banking when I graduate.

 

i always wanted to be a teacher, and i was going to school to be a spanish teacher, but i realized teaching isn't what i want to do, so i'm going to be a spanish translator when i'm done with school.

 

um when I get to IU I will be workin on an associates in sound/recording/production/sound engineering stuff of that nature.

I'll end up being a sound guy for some place or possibly a producer... maybe a lil bit of both. I plan on also being a musician part time too . If shit doesnt work out tho I've got college credits in music theory already so I just may end up teaching kids music lol.
For a side gig I also plan on teaching kids how to play the guitar which im doing currently but if shit really really really doesnt work out I've got connections w/ the local guitar store and when I turn 18 im sure I could get a job there .

My dad said he could get me a job being the dude who carries your bag outside of airports for a living haha... which I guess pays $100,000+ a year in tips alone but its basically an open to close job... I may do it tho if shit really really really really really (5 fuckin really's) doesnt work out and I just feel like working on the time and being fuckin rich lol. But idk I gotta dress up, carry shit all day, be extremely nice, be subjected to random drug tests, deal w/ old assholes who hate me cause I got there job they wanted for years, and idk... I guess its worth it tho... I could work a untill im 30 and live off the pay (40k+ a year) and save the tips and retire at an early age

 

Im not sure what i want to be. For now, im out to save world hunger. Hahaha i know thats impossible but my main goal in life is to seriously impact the war on world hunger, something about knowing that theres so many humans starving to death and looking in trash to feed themselves ALWAYS bothered me.

But i would need a good job to help out. I thought about being a High School gym teacher or a physcology/social worker. But im not sure yet. I know that when my grandparens die its in their will to give me one of there houses they own. Which i am going to donate ALOT to the poor. I just need a job/way of making money so i can live my dream, which is feeding the poor.

 

i want to get allowance from my parents for the rest of my life. and live in the basement. Nah j/k im gonna got to college for film.

 

Im about 3/4 of the way through getting a BS in Earth & Atmospheric Sciences but then before I finished I took a state job working for the DMV. I kinda started to lose interest in weather and geology as a profession. I like it more as a hobby. If I can figure out a way to find a connection between Earth and Atmospheric Sciences to the DMV I can get the state to pay for the rest of my college. As of now Im totally content with having a job that isnt really that interested as long as I get to do what I want to do in my free time. If I stay working for the DMV like I am now I have the potential to be making 65K a year in like 10 years and that is totally cool for me.

 

yeah man right now I worl at McDonald's and don't really know what's coming next. I went to college in the fall, but got like kicked out after a month. Guess they just couldn't handle me ......It sucks cuz they wouldn't let freshmen live off campus, so I always fucked around on campus and got in trouble....Next fall though I think I'm going to another school where I can live off campus, so I'll only be there for classes and shit.

 

I am a housewife/mom, BUT I want to own my own little restaurant/cafe. Serve all the homestyle favorites MY WAY. I would have the place painted in funky colors and stuff, and have antique furniture, and big display cases full of my desserts. I'd hire my family members to help make the stuff fresh every morning, but I'd do most of the work. I'd serve coffee, and tea, and beer, and stuff. I would want only a small place though. Not a big fancy restaurant. Just some really down to earth cool hang out for nice people to chill and meet eachother. And hopefully i would live above it until I had enough money to buy a nice house.

I think I need to take a couple of business courses first though, and work on repairing my credit so I can get some loans. Otherwise I'd have to find a rich man to help me make my dream a reality.

So in case you didn't know already, cooking is my greatest passion in life, and that would be my absolute dream to have something like that all to myself.

 

I want to transfer and get a degree in horticulture/botany, then find work in the horticulture industry somewhere, maybe work for a hydroponics company, who knows.

All I know is that right now I'm sick my shitty job.

 

That sounds like the coffee shop my buddy works at. It used to be a house before it was a coffee place. They focus on coffee but have a full display case of pastries and a full menu. Its really cool cuz theres a ton of different rooms for customers to sit in and each one has its own really homey (not the gangster homey) feel to it with big couches cool colors and tons of awesome art on the walls.
