is amazing. My friend got these planet Earth movies off of some site and there crazy animal documentries with nature stuff and theres like 9 of them. has anyone else seen them here. i've only seen like 1 now but i'm probably gonna watch them all now. i think my friend got them off some site called torrent or something can someone post a link in this topic so i can see that site.
Yeah I don't have a tv or cable anymore, but at te time the show was originally aired I had a projector and we would just chill and watch it with the sound on very loud. Check out CAVES if he has it, one of the best ones IMO. There are some under water caves where like the water forms layers and seems like air, people have mistakenly taken off their scuba mask and drowned.
My brother got it for me on HD for my last birthday. My mom just bought a new 50" plasma, and it should be here in a week. I cant wait to watch it on that thing.
i did not think of that. i really got to try that. btw has anyone heard of that new movie the pineapple express?
I agree that the Caves episode is probably the best. To the person who talked about them being on the discovery channel, don't watch them on there because the narrator is the horrible chick. The only way to watch Planet Earth is to experience it with David Attenborough as narrator.
I can't remember if shallow seas has the sea hippopotamus thing, or if it the deep seas one. Fuck I guess I will have to watch both so I can see it graze along the bottom stirring up sand with its giant floppy cheeks.
I think its the deep seas one cuz I don't remember seeing that creature tonight. But I watched deep seas and Pole-to-Pole last night so I really can't be sure.
planet earth and deep blue are some of the coolest things to watch baked ever That sea snake scene is the trippiest thing. i still can't believe its real when i watch it. so sweet
I know! The first time I saw it, I couldn't even believe those snakes exsisted out there! They are crazy. And real trippy
Caves, waterfalls, and the ant one are my favorites Bluray disc only btw OH..and BBC version only, the discovery channel version isnt as good
I agree with you digital on everything, except I don't have blu-ray. I watch them in 720p sadly compared to your 1080p.
I'm so happy other people here watch that show. It's fucking amazing! Some of my friends are way into it and some thing it's like totally wierd or some shit. I've got every episode on my DVR hahhhha I love it when they talk about how hard shit is to film, like one guy had to bury himself and wait for like 2 days to see some antelope or something....Crazy shit
i am in love with planet earth. they get the craziest shots and they all look so amazing it's even more awesome to watch it in HD. i always watched it baked, i just sit there and watch in amazement
Ya comedies and documentaries are the best when your high. I just watched superbad(for the 1st time) when i blazed and it was the funniest thing ever. And "mininova.org" is a great torrent site. Just make make sure you have "Azureus" downloaded and your set.
You can search mininova, meganova, thepiratebay, and more with http://scrapetorrent.com/. Yeah I watched superbad pretty out of it the other night.
I'm so glad there's already a thread about this...sorry to dredge up old threads, I just wanted some Planet Earth love. The caves one is my least favorite - I totally can't handle that huge mountain of batshit swarming with cockroaches. Freaks me right out. (Because I'm high...shhhh) Here are some other nature series I'm particularly fond of: - Blue Planet - Wondrous Secrets of the Ocean Realm (retarded name, but good stuff) - Anything by David Attenborough, like: Life of Mammals, Life in the Undergrowth, Life of Birds, Private Life of Plants. Anyone else got any favorites I might not have seen?
