I just flat out told my parents that I smoke pot, and that they could eat my shit if they didn't like it.

Was a bad idea now that I think back... they wouldn't have ever caught me anyhow... they were never around. Damn me for trying to prove a pointless point as a teenager.

Anyhow... yeah... pills...bad... turn people... into... zooooommmmbbbies.

I've met some people here in the US who have abused pills since their early teens and they pretty much don't remember their entire childhood. It's just a haze.... and that's extremely sad.

I'm sure that you're much smarter than that though.

 

Benzodiazepine work by increasing the free amounts of GABA (alpha chain) available in the brain. GABA is a naturally occurring neurotransmitter and the most common allegory for it's action would be alcohol. It act's much like booze in a pill. (alcohol works on the Beta chain of GABA)

The problem with these pills is they are very highly abusable. They can cause overdoses, they are particularly dangerous when mixed with alcohol, and if you take them daily.

They will make your brain unable to release sufficient quantities of alcohol without them, making strokes a likely side effect.

Be careful.

That's pretty damn great. It's not that bad though... one beating is better than what some insane parents do to their kids.



Man... I took xanax once as a freshman in college because I have never done pharms (no one is really into them that much outside of gringolandia).... and ofcourse I drank with the xanax because I didn't know better. Last thing I remember, I was at this graduation party at a lake with a bunch of country folk playing "Patience" on the guitar while sitting around a fire...

Next thing I know I wake up at my friends' house... over three hours away, on a chair in the living room.

I don't think I've ever been that surprised.

I also don't really see the point of telling you what xanax feels like. Ask someone who abuses it... maybe they'll be able to tell you why they started in the first place...
