I love my long hippy hair but recently ive gotten a lot of grey hairs, well they are actualy more white than grey and also sort of transparent- like nylon fishing string. Anyhow im a bit worried because ive been getting more and more of them in the past few months and at the rate its going il probably be fully grey by the time im 25! Some people say grey hairs are caused be stress, but im probably one of the most sedate persons I know, so I dont think thats the cause. Any help will be greatly appriciated.
I was about to say the same thing. I'l bet if you asked my 20 y/o bald son which he would prefer the grey would will. You could alway colour your hair.
Se if you have a tin deficiency. Try taking multi minerals. Still a young guy with long white hair would be different and might get you more attention.
Nothing to worry about, i started getting some grey hairs at my 14th , it reflects your inner wisdom .
Hair going grey is actually really very little to do with stress. I saw a program (or was it a website?) where someone explained that grey hair is more to do with the production of hormones, or at least hormonal inhibitors. Seriously mate, go to the doctor, I am not winding you up. To have a large amount of grey hair at 18 is not so normal but it does happen. Stress can produce hormonal changes but the cause of grey hair isnt stress its to do with levels of such things as testosterone, melanin, and a 1000 other sorts of stuff hope this helps http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grey_hair
It means that you're turning into a wizard, embrace it. When I don't shave for a while, I get these golden hairs that is 30% of all the hairs on my face. I have started to get white has as well. I'm personally embracing it. All of those "just for men" commercials are ridiculous, and it is turning men into dorks.
I started getting a few white hairs when I was 20. Around 25-26 I started having a lot of white hairs towards the back. I finally decided to dye my hair (I like having my hair a little darker than my natural color). Some chicks claimed that they thought it was awesome, some would love cracking good natured jokes about it.
ime 17 and i have gray hair, i just rockem. fact people wouldnt know that somethings bothering you on less you let on man. so just act normal and you will be alright,
I started losing my hair around that age. That's why I started regularly shaving my head. Figured it looks better that way than long hair at the back and sides and none on top.
I started going white at about 17, now I am salt and pepper (more salt than pepper). Don't let it bother you. I still receive jokes from my mates about it. But as I tell them, I don't care if it turns tartan as long as it stays on my head.
yeah.. im already thinning, thank god i was born with super thick hair.. but im seeing a doctor and im on some stuff. so im not really losing it right now. but eventully its gonna stop working and its all gonna fall. hopefully advances in science will allow me to keep it. (i <3 my hair)
Lucky you! I didn't start turning grey until my late 40s. Now I get senior discounts, and young girls flirt with me. It HAS to be the hair.
