hey Tenali, this is Ohm I'm most likely going to attend; I think I have a ride from Seattle in a bus.
Hey y'all, I am leaving CA in about 10 days by land. I have traveled Mexico for over ten years and below is a list of things that would be great to bring as they can be harder to find once you cross the Mexican-American ass crack... 1-Spices and herbs such as tarragon, gotu kola, cardamom, star anise, funky teas, etc (all the exotic shit that hippies know and love). Common things such as cinnamon, cumin, bay leaves, pepper, etc can be found at most small grocery stores in Mexico. 2- A good collection of first aid gear 3- A good tent and tarp. Although in Xalapa(northern Vera Cruz) there is a place that makes and sells tarps. Either way both things are cheaper and of better quality outside of Mexico. 4- Any type of solar panels 5- Any large cooking gear that is stainless steel Enjoy your worries, you may never have them again... ---tenali---
I'd love to attend. I hope to be there in January. Is this gathering a good place for younger children to attend? My babies have gone almost everywhere that I have, my little boy would be sooo mad at me if he didn't get to go. What are your feelings about this?
At the last Mexico Rainbow there was several families that attended with ages ranging from 2-ish to teenagers....t
Can't seem to find any dates for this Mexican gathering. Don't think I will make it. Was planning on coming down to Mexico towards end of January via Arizona. Anyone up for hanging out after this gathering, or possibly coming down from Tucson around 1/25?
The official dates or the Mexico Gathering are- Seed camp: 24th November 2007 - Jan 7th, Main Gathering: Jan 8th-21st February 2008
