i've been told to lengthen the a's a bit, so it should be gr-ass, not gr-arse... seriously though *stops grinning* i'm moving to the tremough campus, which is just outside penryn, near falmouth. i've met one lovely lass (not la-rse) who'll be studying there too, but aside from that i know nobody who lives there if any of you live in cornwall, or have some handy tips on how to avoid pasties and other cornish scaryness...like, nice places to go and the such...well any help would be much apreciated. just pm me or reply here..thankies very much ooo, and i'll be studying renewable energy, part of exeter, but in a more local place ^.^ kieran xxx
It's NEVER grarse it's always GRASS Anyway...try and get to the Eden project, that's kool. Newquay is a pretty kool place Erm...try Fowey & Polruan too
Lots of nice stone circles and holy wells/springs to see in Cornwall. Lots of scrumy coastline to see too.....check out Dok's website (click on my pic ) I think you've seen it before Kier but there have been a few new bits added from cornwall. Just get out and explore!!!
be afraid..be very afraid... nah seriously, youll love it mate, everyone seems to apart from myself...just steer clear of the poo hole that is st.austell and you'll be alright... truro has some cool shops, check out cave and enjoy.enjoy is the best clothes shop in the whole universe...it stocks vintage, 60's and 70's clothing and is gorgeous!! padstow is cute and homely...oh and the camel trail can be quite nice to do...especially thr first bit through the woods...newquay is very commercialised and quite scary but if you visit then check out little fistral..the cuter baby bro of fistral bay..its lovely little cove... oooh!you must join a cornish pilot gig rowing crew!! hahahahahaaa i would say join mevagissey but thats far from you...but falmouth have a crew, and you get to go and row on the isles of scilly whcih are flabbergasting-ly stunnuning..you must visit them anyhows when yuour down cornlandwally way.. hahahah your gona get an accent!!! love ya, love luch x
I went to college in 'St.Ozzell' for a while and had great fun getting of my tits mostly in the General Wolfe. It used to hurt quite a lot I seem to recall.
Yeah...all two pubs We also walked the coastal path - once on the way back from the pub when there were loads of storms and it was pissing down with rain and another time at about 6am
ooooo, thank you all very much i am so excited, though i am arriving a day or 2 late :& hey, fashionablely late! oh dear, it'll be grand
Once you've settled in. give me a bell and we'll meet up for a pint or three... Falmouth is lovely (and a bit posh)... my only advice is to get out and see places... there are loads of fantastic little coastal villages that you must visit... hit as many beaches as possible until you find the ones that inspire you the most... get down to St Ives and visit the Tate museum and the incredible Barbara Hepworth gardens... spend a whole day at the Eden Project (and plan to go to next year's Eden Sessions with me)... visit some of the great National Trust places around the county... make a complete tit of yourself at least once by trying to learn to surf... get out into nature on Bodmin Moor... visit the Mousehole christmas lights... get crushed during the Mayday dances in Padstow... and eat loads of pasties so you end up talking to the Cornish pixies (or piscies, if you mean to be proper cornish)... Oh... and learn the meaning of the word directly... Fly... .
yaaaaaaay...3? awwww, i know they say 3's a magic number, but even so!!! seriously though, it'd be lovely to meet up with you at some point
*looks offended*... *looks down at feet...* ok, maybe you're right but i dont look like a st.ozzeler anymore!!
really?? wow...i lived in st.austell from the age of naught til my 16th year...fortunately escaped before having to embrace snozzell college did you grow up there then?
No I was at school near Plymouth for a little while and had a girlfriend who lived in St.Ives/Carbis Bay. Went to live on site down Mevagissey and went to college in St.Austel for a little while out of boredom! Do Scorpio still exist?!!!!!
First off, we do not have an accent!!! hahaha Second, go to the Eden Project because it's just amazing!! They had to move the cannabis plants out of people's way apparently, because people kept stealing the leaves. haha. Newquay and the north beaches are good for surf, and the south beaches, (where i live ) are very pretty. I would steer clear of pasties though if I were you, although that's just my opinion because I'm not a huge fan. We've got wind farms, and supposedly the mildest weather in the UK! Go to Tintagel and places like that right down the county if you get the chance, it's beaaaaautiful. From my experience, it's a pretty peaceful and natural place, and it's been nice growing up here. Come down Kier! You'll like it. Maybe I'll send up a skywriter to say hi PS.where did you go to school, Zonk?
