as of december 23 i no longer have had my dreadies. i for a while thought about taking them out since ive had them since april but never really did anything about it. a week ago or so i started conditioning my hair to let the new hair no get tangled and just let them grow out but i didint see that going well. i was watching super bad with my sister when i started to play with ine of my dreads and all this hair started coming out from it untill all of the dread was gone, so from there i started taking them out. once i got to the back i got a pair of sisscors and decided to follow through. my sister helped me but cut the dreads off to close to my sclap. all in all i miss them truly but it was time for a change. i guess dreads were a short term decision for me but its cool how you can have them for a few months to forever. ill always remeber you guys!!!!!!

its almost a really good day when you remove your dreadies, ur head feels all light and nice, then a few weeks later the want for dreads will return. Glad your happy without them,

well my dad paid me money to not have them anymore so i must resist the urge. my hair does feel more light and refreshed though. one thing thats weird is i can feel the coldness on the back of my head. my dreads insulated more heat, i miss that. my dreads werent the best things to look at. when i cut them, i could see all the dust and smoke and shit that was stored in them. but i will always remember them.

    Ahhh!

Im in the process of my hair locking and such, but honestly I would never cut my hair, or when I get my dreads cut them out, for any amount of money.

i didnt know i was getting the money before i did it. i decided it was time for a change and saw that my hair was getting really unhealthy. when i cut my first dread in half, i saw how mush dust and particles were in it. i was unhappy with how they were done and after i move out, i have free range with my hair. i mean im sad i lost them and everything, but its hair and theyll grow back if i decide to create them. most of the fun is growing them anyway :)
