yes, barefoot shoes or more correctly barefoot shaped shoes. "IF" I shopped at Wal Mart I'd love to wear a pair of these and when stopped by the nazi, I can say "I AM WEARING SHOES" LOL

the site actually is pro barefoot, some of the links support a barefoot lifestyle and say running without training shoes is better for your feet and overall health.

they ain't cheep, around $70.00 US. We have to wear shoes at the gym, I wonder how these would work. they are "enclosed toe and heel". a local store sells these and they work just like gloves, have a heavy rubber padding on the soles but are completely flexable and move with the foot.

of course, Nothing beats totally bare feet

This is a cool link, but they do not have my size. Plus as you say nothing beats being barefoot. I love my sole less moccasins. They are totally worn out, have no sole. I've had them a long time, and had them made for me at L.L.Bean years ago. I wear them to places that have the "No Shoes, No Service" signs, and have never had a problem.
    These are my barefoot shoes!!!

well, I didn't know exactly how to put it in the topic header. I might get some to run in on the street/track cuz it's the closest to running barefoot but with something covering the feet
