I have a very real connection with the world of psychic phenomena. However, I feel myself at a very real impasse as far as delving deeper into these different dimensions. I would like to hear how other people have heightened their sensitivity towards the psychic and mysterious realm? Its something that Im sure I will discover in due time, but perhaps only if I search it out.. many things are handed to me(metaphorically speaking), so I guess I should expect to seek certain other things out... this is me seeking.
What would you specifically like to accomplish in the psychic realm? It helps to have specific goals in mind. What possibilities intrigue you the most?

I have at various times seen spirit had psychic experiences, clairvoyantly as well as astral projection...my question is..how can I connect more to Mediumship seeing spirit...I know people that see them all the time whether they are tuned in or not...' any advice on how to heighten this... thanks
stay well hydrated with lots of fresh clean water. meditate. raise the vibration in the room you are in..humming, singing, drumming, ting-shaws, singing bowls whatever works for you. its also sometimes easier in a dark room lit only by 1 candle.
for me its was a lot of solitude mostly in silence. i did a lot of meditating and read every holy thing i could find. i studdied every possible mode of divination, guided meditation technique..whatever i found--i was ravenous to learn it all & use it daily. I lived and breathe all things holy. i smoke a lot of marijuana and occassionaly do vision quests with lsd--it used to be magic mushrooms. lsd opened many spiritual and psychic doors for me. every kind of hindu god blessed me...my last trip i was blessed by the virgin. i have had life altering realizations, healings and spiritual/psychic experiences not only while on lsd-but every day after. for me SPIRITUAL psychedelic use was the biggest catalyst.
Hey mara-aum--one word to the wise: peyote. It's not easy to come by, but if the gods are with you...for spiritual purposes it puts lsd to shame. Three buttons or more should do the job...dried in an oven with low heat until slightly crunchy--not hot enough to degrade the active essence, but enough to dessicate them. Very bitter, but not intolerable--chew thoroughly and suck the essence from the particles. Be extremely discrete dear, and best of luck.
mara-aum's advice is excellent. Intention is the biggest key--decide what you want to achieve, and the universe will bring it to you. It may not seem like it at first--often the road to heaven requires a long detour through hell, but that's often the shortest route. And keep in mind that the road you think you're on may not be the road the spirits have planned...

hiya In my teens...I was sniffing something and I hallucinated I seen all the egyptian hieroglyphics on the brick wall around me...now being a kid there was no way I could have seen them that clearly for I dont think I had come across them maybe in a museum...but when I seen them the whole wall was covered in them... another thing smoking a joint (not a leg of roast lamb..lol..) so many years later I got short insight..and it all happened five mins later...I seen the police and a red car and I wish I had told this to this person....the police knocked on the person's door and I rushed out the back to go into my own house...and so many minutes later a red car pulled up...oh the guy I got the insight for ran off as well out the back leaving the person next door to answer their door to the police...the guy in the red car said are you looking for so and so (the person who ran off out the back) I knew that he was in the boot of the red car hiding from cops...the thing is cant psychic development be done without mind altering substances... another question..I seen spirit as a kid..so what has happened that they have faded away apart from the odd experience...one friend said it was because I had an interest in witchcraft and magick...dont practice it but have books...
hiya I have had many experiences...waking up with a monk stood at the bottom of my bed..being dragged out of bed by some unknown presence...heard someone behind me though there was only me in the house and all was locked up...I heard loud footsteps and felt someone rush past behind me... also seen a spirit walk from one side of the room to another whilst staying away..and what I remember the most is my mam appearing to me in the early evening..she was cremated that morning..at first I was just sat alone after everyone had gone..no TV on..and to my left this ball of blue light appeared..for some reason I must have been deep in thought I did not give it much attention then on the 5th time I thought what is that where is it coming from...and when I look at the kitchen door a mass of swirling etheric energy gathered and my mother fully appeared..I wish I had not got up and gone to my brothers but it was so powerful at the time it stunned me... anyone ever use occult magick rituals to enhance psychic and spirit presence..I dont mean just for that moment to appear etc, but for it to be an ongoing thing. One more thing...I swear I seen my ex this year about 5 months ago...I was stood getting served in this shop and he (?) walked past outside and looked at me..if it was not him then it was the spitting image...but like some people may look the same..when I looked at his eyes it was him within the same soul, so to speak...and as in my other post about my ex...he contacted me this month...after not seeing him for years...I asked him if it was him..and he said no..and I believe him because the guy I seen was the weight my ex had been when I was with him..he has since put weight on...so have I seen a premonition of him trying to come back into my life..if there was no one there and I was seeing things then what was I looking at...
I smoke alot of weed, and that has helped me immensely with my meditative focus. I am not sure what specific kind of goal I have as far as improving my psychic abilities. Ideally, I would love to improve all of my senses across the boards. Dehydration might have something to do with it.. I have been dehydrated for most of my life. I guess one goal would be to see residual energy, or "ghosts." I can feel them, but I cannot see them. Whats more, whenever I go someplace with a surplus of confirmed "ghost" activity, all activity stops completely while I am there. Most of the time I feel indescribeably powerful. The only way to describe how it feels would be to say that it feels like I am drawing energy directly from my surrounding environment. As if I am absorbing these "ghosts." I would love to just be able to communicate with them.
GRAZI, you're on a trip that feels quite foreign to me. You seem to be on some sort of power trip. You're absorbing energy from other entities? There is much more to this than meets the eye... What you need is insight--why are you trying to absorb other entities? I understand that the mechanism here is subconscious--you need to meditate on what is really happening in your subconscious, to understand why you're doing this. I get very strong indications that previous lives have led you to this one--there is something in your karmic past that you need to deal with here--or else build on the karmic path you've already begun. You need to choose.
being dehydrated is a red flag for me....its our electromagnetic resonance that affects our "psychicness" -meaning the better hydrated you are the better psychically you'll be. picking up on the vibe of a ghost is very different than absorbing one. when you use the word absorbing i get concerned--ESPECIALLY knowing that you are dehydrated. if you are of low resonance you will attract lower resonating spirit frequencies (not advisable) the other thing...its one thing to feel secure in the presence of a lower vibrating entity because you know it must leave...but its another to say you feel powerful. the ego might still be in play here--that can be a dangerous mix. the aim is to feel at one with all entities bound by the love that permeates all creation. aim to feel secure in your own light....but powerful...for what? there is nothing to defeat.
