Me and some friends have all been looking around trying to find ways of growing our own shrooms. I mean just to say we have and stuff. so i was wondering if there were any Guides to makeing a small one in like a shoe box or somthing Also, i am wondering aobut things i have herd such as that you can find shrooms in cow pastures under cow pies? i dont care if it takes a very long time to do, as long as it costs me a VERY little amount of money. ALSO: If their are shrooms sometimes under cow crap, i live in idaho and there are farms like 10 minutes away. and id LOVE to go looking haha if someone could tell me what to look for or give me some pics. that would be GREAT Hit me BAck -Kevin
well, if he lives somewhere with good mushroom hunting, learning how to go about it correctly is probably a very valuable thing to do . it can be superduper fun. but you really need to know, without a shadow of a doubt, what is a good mushroom and what is a bad mushroom, and you need to be serious about it... go to the library and check out every single mushroom identification book they have, and LIVE that shit, cover to cover, until you know it better than the back of your hand (which you will get to know pretty well once you get the hand of mushie identification). hahaha i said get the hand, i made a bad pun without realizing it.
I'd recommend surfing shroomery.org daily and reading every tidbit of info there. its much more satisfying (and potent) to eat your own mushrooms.
I don't think Iowa is all that plentiful in natural magic shroms...but that's just off the top of my head.
If you can get your hands on some canning jars, brown rice, vermiculite, perlite, tupperware tubs, a submersable fish tank heater, fish air pump, a timer, and a pressure cooker, then it should only cost you around $10 for a spore syringe. It's just a matter of doing some research.
