Methadone effects?

First i would like to say hey and im new to these fourms just registered today. Well i have this question about methadone...

How come when i take lets say Oxycodone or hydrocodone or hydromorphone my pupils become pin-points (which is a main side effect that all opiates create) but then when i run out or am done with my OC binge and switch to methadone, to come down, the methadone doesn't make my pupils tiny AT ALL, in fact when i take methadone my pupils look like they would as if I was withdrawing from an opiate or rolling on X. lol i dunno its a weird question but i was just wondering why methadone is the only opiate that doesnt make my pupils tiny..maybe i dont take enough? I usually only take 10mg-15mgs in a day (if i do take it) but today i took 20mg all at once in an attempt to see if i could get high and see if my pupils would get small..they are still HUGe..

 

i dont think methadone is as related to opium as much as oxycodone and hydrocodone are becuase they are derived from codein which come from opium and i think diolated pupils is a side affect of opiates that r more diractly related to opium. and becsuse from what i kno about mathadone its is chemicaly desighned like a opiate but has methenol properties which what im gana say has no side affect of diolated pupils. hopefully you could get what im saying but maybe u wont cause im kinda hie and it doesent make sensce

 

Oxy and Hydro are derived from Thebaine, not Codeine.

methadone is a synthetic opiod it is not made for the poppy plant. Its main use is a replacment dose for herion addicts and other hard core opiod addicts,so they don't get sick and can live a normal life it also blocks the opiod receptors in the brain so the herion addict can not get high, Well you can get high on Methadone it just takes a hell of alot more dope and even then it still does not feel the same when you are on methadone .It is also used buy doctors for severe pain. I don't know why it does not make your pupils tiny. I have no idea ? I take methadone every day 50mg I was as high as 110mg and it did not make my pupils small eather. all other opiods do even other synthetic opiods. I have no idea why ??????

WTF? Wouldn't that be fatal? I've never heard of an addict being precribed more than 15 mgs a day..

 

The normal amount for methadone in Canada is 60mg /day FYI

Hydrocodone or dihydrocodeinone is a semi-synthetic opioid derived from two of the naturally occurring opiates, codeine and thebaine.

110 Mg's is nothing at all my clinic will go up 210mg's a day for real bad Herion addcits like someone who is using like 2 to 3 bundles a day.Shit clinics in New York city have no cap at all on the amount of Methadone a patient is alloweed to take, In the HBO special about methadone some of those methadone patients were on insane amounts like 260+ Mg's a day.
