yea i really dont like to eat when im baked, cuz on the rare occasion i actually get the munchies, i eat way to much, get sick, and spend 20 minutes vomiting, and that is quite a buzz kill
falafel is the worlds most perfect fried food (though it may tie with fried chicken, but i prefer eating vegetarian more often than i eat meat if possible) but its only so perfect if it's made well.... last time i went to canada (a couple years ago) i went to the festival in stratford to see some plays, spent three days there, then went to toronto for two days to just chill...spent a lot of it at the hotbox cafe....dunno if that place is still around or not.... anyway, in stratford there were a couple of fast food pita places....went in and got some food.... easily the words falafel i've EVER eaten. it was nasty, all dry and hard, they were premade and reheated, looked like the shape of hockey pucks....that meal was incredibly dissappointing. but when its made well, oh man....falafel is perfect in just about every way imaginable
I've only been living in Canada for a short time, there are places were they make really good falafels, others you just want to stay away from. Im a vegetarian, so no fried chicken for me
its like....well....kinda like a meatball, i guess, but there's no meat. its made with ground chickpeas (aka garbanzo beans) and a bunch of seasonings and stuff....formed into a patty and fried..... the best falafel i've had looked like this, greenish on the inside. to the left of the falafels is tabouli, a delicious salad made with parsley and bulgar and things...to the right...i dunno, looks pretty much like hummus more often than green in the middle, a lot of still pretty good falafel is tan but still moist all the way through, with the outside crispy and the inside moist. bad falafel is dry and brown all through, and quite unpleasant to eat. good falafel is among the most delicious foods i am familiar with, especially in a falafel sandwich
I like it so much it sucks because I'm a relatively big guy 6'6 215lbs. and every time I eat I have to workout for like three days to get rid of my extra pounds...and, I use up my cash too
Am I the only one who can't eat meat when high? I love it eat meat and have no problems at all with it when I'm sober but when I'm high all I can think about is that it's a dead animal. I never had an issue with it until one day I got a double cheeseburger at mcdonalds when I was with another friend and we were both baked. I looked at my burger and could not take a bite out if it b/c the thought of a ground up animal grossed me out. My buddy was looking at me like wtf b/c I told him I wasn't hungry anymore.
i dunno i like meat but only sometimes. it seems to have little to do with whether or not i'm high, though. i try to not eat too much meat, but i'm certainly not a vegetarian, and i have a particular weakness for really good fish and anything with lamb in it still, i try to restrict my meat intake. for health, for conscience, for budget, and for ecologically sound food
agreed; I could never be a fullout vegetarian, but I definately make sure to only eat like one serving a day at most...
Food is amazing because it can bring back memories. I bought my girlfriend these imported beers she usetah drink in Kenya and with her first sip I could literally see not only the joy but the visions and memories of Africa flooding her brain. Like everytime I eat those Kebbler Elf cookies I get flashbacks of my grandmothers kitchen. I love food
Marijuana is amazing because it stimulates and depresses so many different areas of the brain. I'm no neuroscientist, but I do know enough to say that if you enjoy food more when you are high, it is because it the drugs in the weed (not just THC) turn on a lot of the parts of the brain that are invloved in the enjoyment of food, and maybe also turn off some that normally prevent you from fully enjoying it.If you enjoy it less, the opposite is happening to you. Most people enjoy it way more though.
