A few days ago I tried to contact Riesay's guide Rem. I'm not really sure why I decided to do this and it could have been a bad idea for all I know about these connections. I think I may have succeeded but then I started seeing very transparent eyes and faces against the black of my eyelids. The eyes and faces went on until I saw a bright flash in the lower right hand corner of what I was seeing that looked and sounded like one of those round old fashioned camera flashes. The flashed shocked (closer to scared) me and got my heart beating rapidly. Does anyone here know what the eyes and flash may have meant?
breaking through barriers maybe? like dimentions? layers of existance. first thing i thought when i read this....all the faces....beings? people you were? enteties from these dimentions perhaps? i have a collegue who often recounts his travels to other dimentions, entities he's seen--some pretty dark by our standards....but he says its all good....you are just passing through on your way to something else. the silver chord will always bring you back.
I've seen these flashes of light before. They always shock the shit out of me but there is one in particular I remember that filled my entire field of vision. What do you mean by the silver chord? This is all so new to me. I've only been consciously using my apparent gifts for about a month now which is the same amount of time I have been communicating with my primary spirit guide. And, I must remember to be polite. Thank you for taking the time to help me.
Hi there, The silver cord is what they say is attached to our human form and our spiritual form. When we sleep and visit people and places, it is said that we travel via our etherical body (spirit body) which remains attatched to us while we sleep. Sometimes when we are woken suddenly or are meditating and fall asleep we lift out of our human bodies and it causes a sudden SHOCK when we enter back into our bodies suddenly. LIKE BEING SCARED when you're in the dark, its a sudden movement. People sometimes say their hear a ringing noise, or have a fast and heavy heart beat. The silver cord is what keep us connected to our higher self and the universe/heavens etc. When we pass on, that cord is cut and we float to where ever it is where go. I've seen this cord, I astral travel (travel when i sleep/meditate) ALOT....can't always control where I'm going or who I will see.....but its a wonderful experience. There are plenty of books on the subject, just always remember to surround yourself with warm, loving thoughts, never negative................positive is the way to go. Good luck with working with your guides, they will always steer you in the right path and lead you to where you are meant to be/and to whom you are meant to meet if you listen and let them....... I really am so glad I found this forum and I'm glad I made such a generic topic title. Now I can ask anything I was without going off topic. xD What you say about the silver cord makes sense and gos well with what I just realized. The light that filled my entire field of vision woke me out of sleep (or at least I think it did, it was a while ago). It used to take people forever to wake me up, so when it happened it was probably also a very deep sleep I was woken out of. The smaller orb of light occurred when I was in a barely meditative state. My presumption is that the difference in size shows the difference in depth of my meditation. Would this be correct? Dreamland for the longest time was the only place I knew I had the ability to be 'psychic'. In sixth grade I had a very fairly detailed dream about a child everyone thought was in jail, including myself would come back to school the day of my dream because in my dream I saw him. Seeing him at school that day was inevitable as we were in the same class. I told him about this dream. The jerk made sure everyone knew I had dreamed 'about a man' and all the boys in his little cult made fun of me. This was right about when I was entering puberty maybe it had something to do with the pineal gland its_des10e talks about? Wow, you tried to contact Rem? I'm a bit surprised, some warning next time would be nice! But I think I know what you saw, I agree about the silver cord. The faces though I think were my other guides, LOL, call one of them and you tend to get a flood of the others. The bright light and flash though is a bit tougher, I think it could have been the barrior I've created as a protection and for privacy. By trying to contact Rem you could have been redirected there where on impulse whenever I don't feel like talking I just send people away with the barrior. If that did happen I'm sorry! Wait, do you remember any faces in particular? Or something that happened just right before the bright flash? Because that could mean something else entirely... That's my best guess, and in case you're wondering I don't mind if people try and contaxt my guides, just be careful and tell me all about it!
Are you getting possessive with your guides, Riesay? LOL If my deductions and assumptions are correct, Rem would appear to be one of my guides also, as well as my acquaintance in the material world--and maybe the guide of who knows how many others... Anyway SRL, if I know anything about Rem/Mia, I know that she uses your own thoughts and subconscious thoughts as starting points for her mind games. So my guess is that the eyes, faces, and flash had something to do with the state of your thinking when you started this connection attempt...and could very well be a sly poke at your assumptions. To really benefit from these connections, you need to pay very close attention to your own thought currents, and see how the guides interact with those currents. If you keep this up, you'll start to see the connections between your thoughts and intentions with the guides' interactions. This will be of greater benefit than looking for interpretations from others.
Hey SLR, Your user name is fine, quirky & different is a good thing, and I never even looked at it as violent at all. Are you at all in touch with your own guides? I don't agree that guides are RESTRICTED to one person either.But if Reisay's up in arms, perhaps its better that you you leave "her guides" be. If they did not want you to see them, then you wouldn't see them. They say we have different guides that assist us through different areas in our life. Have you tried contacting your own???? i'm sure they're waiting to meet you. People can be cruel when it comes to believing in spiritual aspects of life, because without experiencing it themselves, they don't believe that it can be POSSIBLE.And some people are just ignorant to anything that appears to be different. Keep following your heart with spiritual matters, and just be careful with disclosure. Some times its better to keep things underwrap, to save awkward moments. But thankfully, there are HEAPS of places where they LOVE hearing about your experiences and thoughts! Love & Light Lexi
Also something else, a guide of mine named Akadia is saying he kicked you out. Sorry for that, Akadia is one of my more, erm, paranoid guides, he hates having anyone remotly near his mind. Really, its hard for even me to talk to him, even without wanting to he pulls away. LOL, its taken months for him to allow my twin to read him, and even then it was tricky. So I'm guessing he felt this foreign presence and immediatly freaked out and pushed it away. But to confirm this Akadia or the others would have to be just a bit more cooperative (nope) or someone would have to try again. I think, I'm not really all that great with the pyschic stuff. Aside from a few extra guides I'm not all that skilled. But do tell me if this was helpful at all, I need to know when Akadia is messing with me, he's very clever at it.
