okay, so i got a rose on my back right.. its supposed to be on my lower back anyway, i was all excited and overwelmed about finally going through with getting one so i was like COOL! so they put the outline thing where they thought i might want it.. and i was in a room with 3 other peop0le getting tattooed.. and they all kept on looking at me.. and you know,, that feeling when you're being watched... yeah. thats how i felt... then i was just like.. yeah thats fine. so i got tattooed.. and i was like ... COOL! so the next day, when i took off the cover, i was all like.. ohh shit. its alittle too high up my back now i'm stuck like this for life...lol i mean, i can live with it - i'm in love with the design... but it coulda been much better if it was an inch lower. an inch and a half to be exact. god damn.http://photos-d.ak.************/photos-ak-sf2p/v149/183/86/501378464/n501378464_447015_2451.jpg =(
^^^ditto. However, I do understand the excitement/pressure/nerves that come along with the tattoo, so I can understand how it happens. Well, that kinda sucks. I'm glad you like the actual tattoo, though. The two things I will tell you are: 1. Wait a couple of weeks before totally passing judgement. I wasn't stoked on the placement of a tattoo I got, but now realize that it is really well placed. Part of a tattooist's job is to have an eye for placement and he put it where he thought it looked best. 2. Consider expannding on the piece. maybe adding some vines/leaves/other elements will make the tattoo look more complete and not so floating in space. The best
they should have let you check the outline out before inking you..that's pretty much procedure, I can understand if this is your first tattoo and you didn't know, but you should have asked to checked it out first if you knew what was going on...just like the poster above me said, expand it..
but I think all there is to do now is learn to love it as it is. I was a little down with the placement of one of mine once it healed but it grows apart of you eventually regardless and becomes as perfect as any of our lovley human flaws...
good news, i looked up abunch of lower back tattoos online,, and apparently mine is in the right place. lol but i'm still gonna expand it later on (when i got the money) yeah, thats what i was thinking of doing. i wear my pants extra low anyway.. all i gots to do is change the way i wear my pants. and after looking at some peoples tattoos.. just made me feel way better about mine. lmao. i'm sure a lot of people regret getting thier tattoos.
Don't worry. As some of the posters above me said, wait a bit before passing judgement. You may like it as time goes on. I have a blue daisy with a ying-yang in the center on the outside of my right thigh all in shades of blue. I hated the color when I first saw it. But as time went on, I realizd that it was very me and it is now my favorite tattoo.
The placement I think is actually good, and maybe people were staring at you cause its a Tramp Stamp... lol
I think it looks great. Just like ahimsa said, if you would like to be lower, you could add something along it as an addition which may make it appear to be lower. Or maybe I am wrong. It may just make it appear bigger lol.
i think by the end of this month, when my school gives me back that $50 activity fee, i'm gonna expand on my tattoo.. i'll show you! i drew on myself just to see how it would basically look, and OMG its soo much better. lol can't wait.
i sorta know what you mean.i got my first tattoo last year.i had it done on the lower right of my back.the artist tried to talk me out of putting it there.but i wanted it there so i didnt have to look at it all the time if i didnt want to.now im pissed cuz i cant see itim going for #2 in a couple weeks.this one is gonna go on my stomach cuz i WANT to see it as it will have a ton of meaning to me.
I don't understand why people do not spend more time getting to know the people who they are paying to ink them for life. That said, I like your tattoo. Lesson learned?
i dont particularly see a problem with the placement. when i got mine on my shoulder i realised i actually had it backwards cos when i checked it in the mirror it looked the right way but obviously the mirror shows it the opposite way XD doesnt matter, looks fine and nobody will ever know cept me that im a doofus and i like it just the same
ill post mine, the pics kinda old like before it had finished healing tho which is why its bit um patchy anyways it doesnt matter i wanted it the other way round, still works n i like it
Yeah XD at first i was like im a retard, then i decided it still works and nobody would know unless i told them it was sposed to be other way round
