I think that girl/boy friends come and go but animals are serious companions, not that they don't come and go too...now if you are in a really serious relationship or married maybe the bar should be lifted a little...but I really see no problem in it...but maybe I say that cause I'm not seeing anyone and am like crazy about my animals...
